We should agree that based on FTP rules (easy to make tournaments, any one you want), that unless otherwise, FTP 10+1 ftw? Celine suggested Sunday, which is OK by me, though I may not make the first one (I may take the weekend off). Anyway:

i don't know how stars works, but at tilt all you have to do is email the tournament details and BOOM, they create it for you and send you a password.

Err...make the poll checkboxes, a lot of ppl will be able to play many options. Option with highest count wins. If this becomes frequent, alternate between top two winning options.

Sunday, 12 noon pacific time / 3 pm eastern time. (If you can't make it on Sunday, maybe next tourney)

$10 freeze-out, Stars, double stack, 15 minute blinds. We should think about a limited amount of people so we don't have a marathon event.

This thread needs more poles.

Also I really think you'll have better luck on stars, there's more people that play there exclusively. Sunday is good for me too, afternoon would be better but whenever is fine.

edit: Also I think a $1 rebuy would be awesome, with a $5 rebuy many of us small stacks people would not be able to just go nuts and rebuy 50 times or whatever.

Suggestion: if we do this every week, 3 times a month we'd do freezeout, one time every month would be a rebuy.

Any evening time for you US guys would pretty much exclude everyone from Europe. I voted for Sunday afternoon since that makes it a reasonable time for both continents.

Alright fine.

I'll set one up on Stars. Here is what I am setting up:

$11 NLHE 15 minute blinds, normal stars structure.

It looks like most people want it on Sunday, so I am going to shoot for Sunday (sorry MJ).

Lastly, I need to know what time works best for most people. All times are server time. Conversions made for those on the west coast. Euros, I'd really like to hear from you b/c I have no idea what works well for you.

i was thinkin... instead of on a Sunday when all the best tourneys of the week are held, and all the other tourneys have the best turn out, should we do it another night? Or maybe a Saturday afternoon?

Most of us are already multi-tabling to the max on Sundays anyway...

Maybe not... that was my thought b/c that's what I do, and I know alot of others do as well. All the tourneys have higher prize pools/payouts on Sunday. Plus it seems alot of the ssmtters play the Sunday Hundred Grand, and some play the Sunday Million (I mainly play on pokerstars obv). But whatever everybody wants. Plus we have to consider our Euro friends...

Personally, since this is not going to be the last time this happens AND, furthermore, since Sundays are important for at least some people (personally, I don't believe in playing $100, $200, and satellites until I build my roll to afford those higher buyins), why not just make it during the week? [censored] the polls, because we don't even know if all pollsters are going to join.

The other thing is that Sundays there is football and [censored], and I want to take a break from playing [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img].

Anyway, just my thoughts.

Well I don't really care what day we (you all) do it on. I probably won't even be able to play in it as my weekends are usually devoted to things other than poker.

Personally, I feel like Saturday is a better day given that Sunday is such a big poker day.

Anyhow, I'll just set it up for Saturday @ 14:00.

hc: Same situation for me, Pokerstars account with zero balance. I signed up for epassporte, validated a credit card and made a transfer to Pokerstars in around 5 minutes flat.

I was surprised how easy it was actually!

Ever heard about multitabling? Most of us play poker on Sundays, so why not run this tournament on that day? For us who have families, Saturdays are often booked. And the rest of you should go out, get drunk and get laid...

just to add a comment ....

1) if anyone needs $10 shipped on game day... i'm sure a few of us are fine with moving money around (PS <--> FTP)... no worries about that.

2) i voted for $1r cause deep stacks are the way to go i think for just a fun ssMTT . i mean... at least this way we can maybe reduce the amount of donka in the ment. but ya. whatever.

3) barry, what prop bets did you have in mind... but sure, lets gogogo... find me on AIM one day.

4) also, i prefer to get laid on sat.., but i will rearrange my schedule as needed... or just get a BJ while playing. either way. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
