I'm thinking about getting one on my shoulder. Do women care about them? Will I regret it in a month? discuss.

Re: tattoos

If your tattoo is out of site, especially at work, you should not have any regrets. Of course, if it gets infected and you have to amputate then maybe.

Hey bro. Even though I don't know anything about you, what your interests are, any example tattoos you like, and don't know what kind of girls you are into, I can definitely help you out with this tattoo confusion. It's pretty easy. You should get one of those tattoos that's like an Asian symbol for some cool word. Like the Chinese symbol for "strength" or "loyalty" or something like that. That would be totally pimp. Girls would be totally drooling all over you.

Or get one of those sweet barbed wire tattoos like:

http://www.inkedblog.com/archives/barbwirett.jpg

That would be really sweet bro. And to answer your original questions: You definitely will not regret it in a month. And yes, all girls are into these. Hope this helps.

Tattoos are awesome and you should definitely get one. I recommend the face or neck area so people can see it.

I have two giant tattoos written in Mandarin - the one down the left arm means "Assertive", and the one down the right arm means "Confrontational". I don't regret them and live by them daily.

Re: tattoos

wasn't there some junk about the meanings of these characters being 'lost in translation.' I seem to remember rumors that the 'warrior' symbol actually meant 'I have killed a man.'

Regardless, unless you are with someone who knows what the symbol means, you can pass it off as whatever suits you at the time.

EDIT: I can't find the ATOMIC symbol tattoo. No tattoo thread should exist w/o it.

I have a life-sized tattoo of my face on my chest. The effect when I take my shirt off is breathtaking, and chicks really love it.

I also have the Chinese symbol for the word "cymbal" on my neck. Chicks and employers really love it.

So, in short, OP, yes.

No dude don't get a tattoo.
A couple years ago I got a tattoo of what I thought was the Chinese character for "strength". It turns out that it was the Chinese character for "of two men who love each other, I am the one who plays the woman". So yeah, now I can't show my chest to any Chinese people. It's bad.

As fascinated as I am with tattooing, the only tattoos I can imagine getting myself would feature the names of wife/kids. It's there to say, after all, unless you want to go through the removal process (hint--you don't).

Not exactly who you were thinking about, but I'll keep looking (This is who came to my mind)
http://www.dfwexposed.com/images/par...%20Man%204.jpg

A San Diego computer programmer who has spent £100,000 on tattoos and plastic surgery to turn himself into a "tiger" wants a fur graft. Dennis Smith is tattooed from head to toe with orange and black stripes and his teeth have been filed to needle point. He has also had latex whiskers implanted and surgery to his lips so he has a permanent snarl. He now wants a surgeon to graft tiger fur on to his skin, like a perma-wig.

Mr Smith, who has changed his name by deed poll to Cat Man, said: "I have a collection of old tiger pelts from the days of hunting. I want these grafted on to me. It will cost another $100,000 but will be worth it. "When I have the coat of a tiger, I feel I will have reached my goal in life."
