Seriously, if they could get Tevez back (never going to happen) and have Riquelme, I may literally break out into tears.

I think Boca is going to be pretty damn close to unbeatable in Clausura this year as it is. Somehow they are still in 3rd in Apertura despite playing like ass on multiple (aka most) occasions. Riquelme is a [censored] beast and the fact he isn't playing in Europe at the moment is borderline mind-boggling.

It's about 100x worse. More like if Giants/Dodgers fans actually cared about their teams and devoted every waking minute to their team. La 12 are some crazy mofos and has to be borderline mafia-like.

Ok, this is bs. Riquelme is slow as balls, yes. He is also insanely talented and easily the best midfielder Argentina has had since Maradona. He practically won Copa Libertadores for Boca single-handily this year and he is the reason Argentina is wiping people up (for the most part) in the World Cup Qualifiers. He takes a free kick like no one I've seen.

I think you might be underestimating the best midfielder on the #1 national team in the world.

Yeah I was just shocked when I saw that. When my sister saw boca-river i specifically told her not to wear either teams colors and to avoid any sort of "i like side a better than side b" discussion as to not be killed. They dont call it el classico for nothing.

I hated posting the logo, but to make it more comparable, I present this scenario:

The major leagues are essentially a farm team for the Japanese league. Every time a MLB player becomes great, a Japanese team swoops in and signs him. Wouldn't you be happy to get a great player back in your league?

I hate Boca with a bleeding passion, but beating them with Riquelme in the lineup will make it all the sweeter [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
