A little improvement in one year

I started cash games seriously about 1 year ago, I was looking back at an old blog of mine (not spamming, plz don't ban) and I found this post pretty humorous.
[ QUOTE ]
Starting at 7/12 here are my stats for Absolute Poker

Total Profit: +1071.62
Total Bonus (so far): 330 of 750
BB/100: 6.36!
Starting balance: 750
Current balance: 2117.12

Plus I'll be getting about 200 dollars in rakeback.

Now its time to kill myself at work. 95 degree heat for 8 hours. Why?

[/ QUOTE ]

Notice the whining about going to work, even though I haven't made that much?

I was playing .5/1 then, here's July this month:

And I still work a resume building, crappy 7.50/hr job

what kind of 7.5/h job could possibly build your resume unless it's a dishwasher at a lab? and if it is then quit, and volunteer (as in offer to work for no pay) for the stuff you really want to do as a labtech, and not as a dishwasher

or similar if something else

I already volunteer...

I don't dishwash, I grow fibroblasts in acellularized tissue. The reason I get paid [censored] is because I got the job through a grant, so the purpose of the job is more educational than to make money

Ok so your skin is made up of two things... skin cells and what is called the extracellular matrix, which holds the cells together. I'm taking cadaver skin, "washing" the cells out of it. This acellularized (no cell) tissue has been shown to be effective in wound or burn healing. I'm trying to improve the healing capability of the acellularized tissue by pre-loading it with fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are a class of cells that play a key role in synthesizing the framework for cells, so the hope is the fibroblasts can help close wounds and regrow skin on burns
