HU ethics question

You load up a HU table and sit while you browse the net. Someone sits down who you don't want to play without paying attention. You have posted your blind...

What is the correct way to continue ethically to quit as soon as possible? Give each of you the button and then leave?

Fold and leave. Suck up the loss because it was your own fault.

raise the button if you have it first, then 3bet the 2nd hand.

If a fishy table is breaking up and somehow I wind up playing one hand of HU (when my intent is obv to leave because I'm a table selection nit) on the button, am I responsible for sticking around so the other dude can play his?

am i supposed to care?

i just quit whenever

if i've been playing for a while, i'll say "gtg in a few" just to try and be nice, but if it's the beginning of the match i'll just quit w/o saying anything

I had the same problem yesterday. I basically told him that my wife is screaming down my neck because there is a stranger in the garden. He/She told me to take care and wished me a good day.

Letting your opponent play the button is courteous. Also, turn auto-post off

If you are the button, open fold. If your the big blind fold to his raise. Why the hell is this difficult?
