100k 100nl review

Stats since 9/15

Thoughts? Am I too weak-tight?

Maybe a little too tight but it's still fine. I think your AF is a little low though.

Can you be more specific? Do you not feel like your win rate is high enough?

It would be easier to give feedback if you gave some examples of how you possibly play profitable situations too weak/tight, if you think you do.

i like how these only get posted by people with 4+ptbb

Re: 100k 100nl review

My questions are mainly with my W$wsf and AF. It seems very low compared to everyone else. I like that I am a winner, but am I right these type of stats would be exploited at higher limits? I feel like I adjust to other players, but it seems my AF never increases in the long run.

Re: 100k 100nl review

- You could loosen up from the CO/button a little.
- AF #'s are a little low on every street.
- You go to showdown a little too much...which is probably related to the AF numbers.
- Looks like you're cold-calling just a little too much.

Otherwise, doesn't look too bad. Your win-rate is very good, and surprising to me given your low AF #'s and the low W$WSF. What site do you play at? Are these all recent?

Re: 100k 100nl review

Yes they are all in the last two months or so since 9/15 at Pokerstars. I play about 1% higher in vpip and pfr at nl200 over about 30k hands with similar results.

I realize my numbers are all slightly low, so when you see me at the table are you always folding non-goods against me? Or what exactly would the higher %'s gain for me? More loose calls?

With my W$WSF so low I feel week, yet I think I play better than 95% of my opponents at nl100 post flop.

Thanks for any feedback guys, it is appreciated

your W$WSF is not low.. its above average.. turn and river aggression does look a little low.. but for a 100k sample- it seems to be working- so keep doing what your doing..

Re: 100k 100nl review

serious question, why haven't you moved up ?. And your wwsf is definately low

Re: 100k 100nl review

WWSF is very low, VPIP to PFR ratio sucks, steal frequency is too low, etc.. Not like it matters. OP's not brain dead. He obviously knows he's playing weak tight, and knows that is what everybody would point out. But posted this anways. 5BB/100 at $100 when you're managing 27+ WTSD and nearly 54% W$SD is seriously not a brag.

Re: 100k 100nl review

He said he has played 30k hands nl200 already. Seems like W$WSF is the new ptBB/100. If you 10 table like the MT ratio implies, then the W$WSF will surely be lower than if you 4 tabled, you just simply don't have enough time to fight over every small pot.

Re: 100k 100nl review

I made that whole post about W$WSF awhile ago... but if you're winning - you are doing something right.

W$WSF is a good tool to look at if you're losing as one of the many possible leaks. If it's low and you're losing - you could use it to correlate with the amount your calling oop. It could be lower because you're calling too much oop or too much in position with speculative hands and not playing them properly.

running good IMO based on those super passive stats, or maybe you just table select really good, and never tilt. either way this is def a brag.

1st post! All looks fine to me. People get so hung up on things like W$WSF and WTSD as if they're the defining factor in whether you're a winner or not. Those stats gloss over so much. If your W$WSF flop is 'low' (btw I dont think 37% is low) you could still be very profitable, by losing small pots the 63% of the time you lose, but winning big ones when you win.
All this obsession with stats that track individual hands regardless of the pot size flies in the face of one of the most important rules of poker: We are trying to win money, not pots.

Re: 100k 100nl review

you mostly have the leaks most multitabling regs have. i think things like w$wsf and AF lower the more tables you play.

this is imo a very very good winrate for someone playing 10 tables.

by all means continue playing like this, but just be aware that you will have to change styles to beat midstakes for the same whack.

this may help

From limited experience, I would totally agree with sh58. Cbet more flops and you should pick up more pots.

his aggression is somewhat similar to mine, I think that I am way too passive in some spots. What are somewhat good numbers for postflop aggression?

too tight/passive for my taste

Re: 100k 100nl review

move up already

also, you're not aggressive enough in the pots you enter

you can see this from your W$WSF and your street by street agg

also, work on stealing more / opening up more in late position

You either run like a god or table select like one.

Re: 100k 100nl review

Thanks for the input so far everyone. Sh58 I really liked your post I think it could help a lot. In the nl100 game I've really stopped the double barrels because I know everyone will call with anything.

This post was def not intended to be a brag. I'm new to 2p2 and from what I had read here and cardrunners, I felt I was weak.

Does anyone have a large sample size they could PM or post with what they think optimal stats would be for a nl100 or nl200 game?

Kind of interesting to see your stats. They are pretty similar to mine. I also have a low Won $ WSF% and my AF are all pretty low. But it is the style that has seemed to work best for me at 100nl... Will probably have to change to move up beyond 200nl though...
