Parker's is pretty sweet and they even get 20-40 going sometimes. I would go but I'll be out of town those days.

My July graph, which I'm very proud of. First month that I've sat and really tried to focus harder on the game instead of bonus whoring everywhere and not really keeping track of stats and other players' tendencies. All at $1/2.

Previously I didn't pay as much attention as I do now on PT stats, PAHUD stats, hand analysis, and just plain observation. Not sure how I was a marginally winning player before, but I was.

Delaying semi-bluffs until the turn is getting more and more common IMO. I don't think this is a good spot for it, but I think sometimes it can be good.

If your primary poker goals are to make money and move up in stakes, I think your time is best spent in NL. If you put the me of three years ago in today's smallish stakes LHE games, I don't know if I'd have gotten to be able to build a large BR in LHE or not. I'm not ready to call it a dead end, but, NL is by all means the easier game to get wealthy in today.

Also why is every guy with TAG stats that I play against a [censored] spaztard idiot that puts in 26 bets with the worst hand and gets there every time and takes KQ UI to showdown 80% of the time. One guy check raised 3 players on a KQxT board with A4 to make me lose the max when my QJ missed like it always does. I dont think any player pisses me off as much as the bad TAG. Yep, not denying I ran super hot.

Its all on Stars and my usual game is 10/20 and 5/10. I've played about 125k hands since April with a winrate of 1.1bb/100.

tryp i would just approach your 10/20 grind the same way you approach your shots. you KNOW you are more alert when playing the 15 or 30, you know you want to play better and make less mistakes because you want to win more at those stakes. i've had plenty of months/days/sessions like that where i'm way in the red in my "normal game" but up a bit because i saw a good seat 3 handed at a higher game.

Then you realize that you actually ARE thinking differently in the two games. i don't care if you say you aren't because you are. Whether it's stopping the sessions sooner or the complete opposite, i would wager dollars to donuts (chubby guy is hungry - that's me) that you don't play the same in both. Something is different.

read that like 4 times and then do it and then ship me the .8bb/100 i just made you (over your next 50-100k hands).

Agreed, that is good advice. I've actually tried to keep this in mind when I'm grinding, but it doesn't always happen.
