I was reading about the script that removes title bars for stars in this thread

its supposed to take the title bar away on the tables like this

This looks like and awesome script but it doesnt look like it works anymore. Can someone work on this cuz this seems like a this would be a big help for all multitablers.

How do drag a table to re-position it, if there is no Title Bar?

I often have to re-position the tables manually. The built-in layout manager for stars is pretty weak. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

This was written on the overcards site, so I guess they just move the drag area down a bit.

I get this thing running but its not taking away the title bar. I plug in the code for stars but it doesnt change anything. Can someone help?

ok a couple of things, this program here I try to open and it says to download the newest ahk version but I already have. You can see it says Im using an older version which I dont understand.

and this one here I can open and run it but when I put the plugin code into it, it also says to get the newest verson of ahk

so Im wondering which progam is the one I have to run and y it says I need the newest ahk version when I already have it. Maybe I have to put the new ahk version in with the folder?

Yes, this is awesome. 12+ tables (or whatever), the increased table size is significant.

Yes, there are no problems with Reload / BetPot.

I use no titlebar almost all the time - so any of my scripts will be fine with it for sure [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

The first one is the right one. Are you sure, you have the latest ahk? It should be 1.0.47.04.

I just realized something when I download the newest ahk version the autohotkey program itself doesnt update and when I tried to update directly to the autohotkey file everything gets updated but this program and a password protection window pops up. I dont remember setting a password for it ever so I dont know whats going on with that. I dont know what to do.... help?

yeah, just download from www.autohotkey.com/download/ - *close all running scripts*, and install. should work.

Does this work on Full Tilt and/or Vista? Ive tried using the full tilt plugin on vista but it seems to do nothing at all.

Edit: Actually, it does do something. the title bar is still visible, but when i click on it, it acts like its not there. i.e. i click on the title bar and im really clicking no whatever is underneath it. And clicking just under the title bar works to move the tables. Any way to make this work for vista?

Edit2: I see it works in windows classic mode. i guess ill have to use that for playing poker [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I just learned how to use the layout manager part of stars planner after using planner for like a year lol.... so much better than stars built in layout manager. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

For some reason the plugin function wasn't creating the Casinos folder properly for me.

If it's not working for you, try creating your own "Casinos" folder in the NoTitleBar folder. Find the plugin code you need for your site (at http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.c...tlebarPlugIns) and save it in a text file as yourpokersite.ahk.

Reload the script, and it should work.

Being able to [sort of] hack AHK ftw.

I cant figure out how to use this script and there are no instructions. From what i can see there are 6 differenct ahk files. do i have to fun each of them? Which one do i add the plug ins for for the sites i use? the start.ahk or the notitlebar.ahk.

i use FT and stars. could someone please give me a step by step of installing this and where to put code and which script to double click on?

Double click on the script not in the folder, which launches the program. Right click on the tray icon for the script (shows up in the bottom-right of your screen) to set preferences and add plugins.

See my post right above yours if it still doesn't work, it tell you where and how to install the plugins manually (easy as saving text in a file).

i tried that and it didnt' work. does it matter what i name the files in the casino folder as long as they end in .ahk? for example does it matter if i call it stars.ahk or pokerstars.ahk? i just make a file with the plug in code? I did that and the tables still have a border.

the casino folder has to be named "Casinos" - I'm not sure if the case matters, but you can render that concern moot by getting it right.

and no, it shouldn't matter whether you call it stars.ahk or pokerstars.ahk

and also, i'm not an expert - i can just poke around and figure out some common sense-y things.

so make sure you have the most current version of ahk. and disable UAC if you're running vista. make sure you reload the script after creating the the plugin files.

hopefully that works. if not, maybe somebody else can help you.

I can't get it to work either. When the script is loaded nothing happens. I have the most current AHK. I downloaded and installed the script. Then copy and pasted the file for stars. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
