Prince/Cecil Fielder commercial from 1992
 

I thought this old McDonald's commercial with little Prince Fielder was cute. It's too bad he and his dad don't speak any more.

Maybe Prince can make some appearances out of the bullpen for Milwaukee. They need help.

IIRC, Cecil ran up a bunch of gambling debts and then split. He left his wife to pay the bills and take the heat since the credit cards were in her name as well. So, yeah, Prince may be a little upset with his old man.

A few of my college friends are from Grosse Pointe, MI, which is a very rich and very white Detroit suburb. Apparently, Prince played baseball with these guys when they were about 12. A few moms complained that Prince hit the ball too hard and was going to hurt some kids so they made him play in a league with older kids.

I wouldn't be so sure, considering people can vouch for the fact that he was hitting homers at Tiger Stadium when he was that age.

Unless you're saying that you think the mothers didn't want him playing because he was black.

same thing happened to bo jackson. i know bc i did a book report on him in 5th grade.
