Nov Goals Thread
 

I didnt see a goals thread for this month so here it is.

My Goals:

-Get a dealing job
-Play like 5k hands maybe (I one table)
-Start Adding tables as you get comfortable with some things I have added to my game.
-Keep good win rate at 25NL
-Run great!

- 12-table only enough to get a Wii from stars, then stop
- Really work on my game 1-tabling, reading/thinking/posting
- Get roll up to nl100 level and stop withdrawing it.
- try 6-max for at least 5K hands

- Increase aggression, especially PF in both 6max (22/6) and FR (17/5).
- Do not over-value TPTK at supermicro FR NL tables. (biggest losing hand is AK in FR)
- Stop cbetting at 2/5NL FR, it rarely works. Increase Cbetting in 6 max.
- Use position to play and RAISE more "marginal" holdings.

These are the goals I have before I move up to 10NL. Some seem counter-intuitive to advice I've read, but some of it really doesn't work at 2NL.

I agree, and i've played enough hands at $5nl to know.

Value betting your made hands makes up a higher percentage of your winrate than it does at $100+.

At higher levels it's very profitable to steal and cbet flops you miss, at $5nl you get called down too light to make it profitable imo.

150k hands at $5nl lol

-80k hands at NL50
-End comfortable with 8-10 tabling NL50
-Read more in the Full Ring forum and less in the BB&V forum ;o
-Work on bet sizing for to give/deny certain odds for *mutli-way pots

[/ QUOTE ] When I play I don't read 2p2 because I like to concentrate on hands/reads so the two go hand in hand for me. So if I stop posting so damn much I'll be playing more plus I won't have to take the time to write a pooh bah post that I've been thinking of.

Win my prop bet vs 2 friends,they each bet me $500 that i cant win $10k at 100nl,I can play as many hands as i want.Should be an ez 1k if i play 100k hands.Wish me luck

Move up to NL50 and stay there (starting off rough already due to bad beats and then tilting)

Make money at NL50

Quit the curiosity calls

Quit tilting when hit with bad beats

*Increase my long run PFR% to between 50% and 60% of my long run VPIP%.
*Play more hands by getting up earlier instead of sleeping in until noon.
*Build up my new stars bankroll to be able to play 25NL (not too far to go on this one) and maintain a winrate at least 70% of my bodog 25NL winrate.
*Become a silverstar (yea, Im new to stars)

If stoxpoker is good enough you might want to get a one year subscription through PSO. Its very easy to just complete one sign-up.

My goals:
Clear at least $300 in bonus (should be easy since I should clear $130 today and need about 4-5k hands to clear my next $200 bonus)
Read Online Ace, NLTAP & PNL. Should be easy too, since I'm halfway through OA & PNL.
Win some money playing NL25. Unfortunately this is the hardest part of my goals [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Play alot of hands.
Win plenty at NL 50 $, move up to NL 100 $ and keep winning.
Cash big (top 5) in at least one medium to large sized donkament.
Start actually posting here at the FR forum instead of just lurking.
Don´t play when tired.


So this is the first time I post in one of these threads. Do you guys make updates in this thread at the end of the month to see if you made it or not?

Occasionally. If nobody else does it, feel free to do so. Often this will encourage others to update their goals.
