College football week 10
GA Tech and VA Tech are about to play. Let's get ready for this ride!
Thought I'd start this with a poll: |

Re: College football week 10
You know, even when I played HS we brought extra jerseys to wear.
|
Re: College football week 10
Turnover would have been huge there. Still think GT's looking better thus far though as the deep ball to Johnson's going to be harder to stop than the [censored] screen game VT's been using.
|
Re: College football week 10
Fucko GT, pay attention out there!
|
Re: College football week 10
Thats now the 3rd onside kick I've seen this year in NCAA and NFL that has worked because teams are getting to hyper aggressive on returns. Awesome work guys. I hate listening to beamerball
|
Re: College football week 10
GT's corners are giving way too big of a cushion out there. Make Glennon try to throw the deep ball and he's going to start throwing picks and giving the game away or at the very least will miss some open receivers. Keep giving him the 5-10 yard routes underneath though, and he'll pick you apart all day.
|
Re: College football week 10
I agree with the whole tucking the ball thing in that situation. But I think he had a TD if is knee isn't down.
|
Re: College football week 10
That was a tremendous pick by Macho Harris. That looked like a great pass while it was in the air but he just pulled it out of the sky somehow.
|
Re: College football week 10
Agree on the interception. That was a great play.
|
Re: College football week 10
Glennon playing really well so far. Too bad they keep losing players.
|
Re: College football week 10
Who voted Holly Rowe? Jesus...
|
Re: College football week 10
The first pick wasn't really Bennett's fault, but good god that second throw was terrible. He really couldn't have found a spot on the field where he was more likely to get intercepted.
|
Re: College football week 10
This was my only worry before the game, that VT's defense would be overpowering, where GT's defense would be good but not overpowering.
GT's defense isn't doing badly but VT is having a lot of success and your offense is giving up stupid points. 2 td's is pretty much gg. |

Re: College football week 10
why is glennons name written on his back, i musta missed it
|
Re: College football week 10
Gregatron needs a custom title, choosing Holly Rowe over Erin Andrews deserves some kind of shame.
|
Re: College football week 10
Lou curses Navy and ensures the ND streak continues.

I guess I'm the only one, but I really like the Holtz pregame speeches.

Re: College football week 10
That looked like a really bad call re: forward progress there.

I'm going to go vomit now. HOW IN THE [censored] DO YOU MISS THAT PASS!?!?!?!?!?!
|
Re: College football week 10
Yikes...that is a nasty looking hit there.
|
Re: College football week 10
Glennon for Heisman!
|
Re: College football week 10
93 for GT is a freak. That FG block in the first half defied physics.

93 for GT is a freak. That FG block in the first half defied physics. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, that's Michael Johnson. He's a stud and has been blowing up since the Maryland game last year, where he had two straight sacks to end the game with Maryland down 4 and on the GT 5. 3rd and Goal at GT 5 Timeout GEORGIA TECH, clock 00:41. 3rd and Goal at GT 5 Sam Hollenbach pass incomplete, Maryland penalty 14 yard intentional grounding accepted. (He was in the grasp and tried to just toss it away) 4th and Goal at GT 19 Sam Hollenbach sacked by Michael Johnson at the GaTch 27 for a loss of 8 yards. |
Re: College football week 10

[/ QUOTE ] In his defense, I've sat next to Erin Andrews for many games before--she's a bit too skinny fantastic rack but the rest is a little too 2'X4' most importantly, the ass is far too flat but LOL at choosing Holly Rowe over Erin Andrews |

While it might not be Vida Guerra, I'd have to imagine that beats anything that Holly Rowe has ever had. |
Re: College football week 10
I'd still hit Rachel Nichols first

Re: College football week 10
Alright, all you crazy ass college football people I need a bit of help, especially if you have a rivals.com account. Steven Schimko is a recruit of Rutgers right now, but he has recently just sent recruitment takes to a handful of D2 schools and even more D1AA programs. Apparently his grades are low enough for him not to be accepted into many of the D1a programs.
No, I wasn't lucky enough to draw his recruitment tape this week(nor do I believe KU got one, I think just Bloomsburg and West Chester in the PSAC). I'm just curious if Rivals has anything on their website. All the information I have is hearsay and it's what the coaches here passed on to me. I'm curious for RU's sake and what the possibility of him actually going to a lower program is as well. Ok, sorry for this. |

My spies in Tuscaloosa report that an overwhelming corndog aroma has become noticable all over town.

Re: College football week 10
Wow, Colin Kaepernick is freaking clutch. This kid is going to make Nevada a LOT of fun to watch for the next few years. Actually, he's already making them a lot of fun to watch, as anyone who saw the Boise State game and the 59 minutes of tonight's game that have been played so far already knows.
Missed XP though, so Nevada only leads NMSU 40-38 with 55 seconds to go, NMSU ball on the 25. |
Re: College football week 10
Leaving for the 'Shoe in about an hour.
tOSU hasn't had any good home games this year really, but I kind of expect this one to be close for some reason Boeckman is way way way overrated and tends to make killer mistakes. I could easily see him losing them a game with turnovers. |
