I misclick-shoved KK preflop on the first hand and ran into AA. He flopped quads. Also, he timebanked down to his last few seconds before calling.

When are you assigned the seat in satellites, after the bubble, or after you are KO'd / win the whole thing?

Just saw the chip leader in this sat desperately raising every hand as fast as he could against a player who was MIA (with just 15 mins left). If somehow he could not finish the tourney before the Main Event started, would he not have got a seat?

(luckily 2nd place guy returned and pushed, ending it quickly, but how much would that suck, to not win a seat because you can't win all the blinds in time...)
