**Official uNL Stats thread**

Many, if not all of us, use Pokertracker to analyze our game. Sometimes, we feel its best to have someone look at our stats to help analyze our game. I personally feel that most, if not all stats posted, really arent over a big enough sample size and wont help your game. However, if you are looking for your stats to be analyzed, here is the thread. ALL OTHER STATS POSTS WILL BE INSTALOCKED FROM NOW ON.

Some guidlines

<ul type="square">
[*] MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SIGNIFCANT NUMBER OF HANDS. TRY NOT TO POST WITHOUT AT LEAST 10K IM THE SAMPLE[*] Dont post stats in here just to brag you had a good weekend. Use BBV or microbrew.[*] When posting your own stats try to look around the thread and see some posters stats who hasnt been looked at. Give and take here folks.[*]If this thread becomes a win rate,e-peen waving, pissing contest, ill lock it and that will be the end of that.

Finally, if someone wants to write a tutorial on how to post stats, there is a title in it for them.

MOVING BACK UP

MOVING BACK UP TO NL50

in the past I'd played a lot of NL cash live(worse for me than better) but was primarily an MTT player. 2 months ago I decided to make the switch to NL 6 max cash on stars after winning 3 stars sunday million seats. Started at NL25, won, moved up to NL50 and thought I was hot [censored]. 12 tabled and ran good for maybe 4-5 days. Then I started up a 12 table session and got stuck quick. Played 4K hands on tilt trying to get even but wound up getting stuck ~11 buy ins for the day before quitting. Spent the last 2 weeks or so at NL25 cutting back on the number of tables and trying to plug the leaks in my game. Before I move back up tonight how are my stats looking?

this graph is for the last two months which is basically my first attempt to seriously grind out cash games online

Looks like you give up on the turn a lot...maybe missing some value there. Nice stats though and a nice solid winrate.

lol@Won $ at SD...NICE!!

Re: MOVING BACK UP

I only got PT 2 days ago (lucky I had stars saving all my HH's in a folder on my comp) so I have very little clue what all these stats really mean. Is my $won at showdown low?

Re: MOVING BACK UP

I like sitting with you on my left. I will steal your blinds all day long. I will fold whenever you RR and I will not take a hand to the river against you without the nuts (okay slight exaggeration).

In other words I think you should play more hands from good position, raise more pre flop, steal the blinds more.

Mine is only 51.1 W $ @ SD that is

Yours i believe is pretty high...

Re: MOVING BACK UP

This is 2007, I really couldn't play that much because of exams but nevertheless moved up to NL50. All 6-tabling.
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...erJanFeb07.jpg

Is my PFR too low? I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable raising more. But I also think I have to losen up a bit.
So plans are: VPIP a bit up, PFR up.

Opinions?

holyfield5 02-27-2007 07:51 PM

Re: MOVING BACK UP

i think your PFR is a tad low, maybe 4% higher, that should also raise your att to steal blinds which seems a little low also but still fine. I love the aggression numbers.

This are my first 40K hands playing NL. I started with 30$ deposit on NL5. Moved up to NL100. But now I play NL50 again just because i want to learn a bit more. I could be just running hot. (see this thread )

If you watch the VP$IP from NL5 up, you'll see that i play tighter as I move up. Standard?

How do other stats look?

These are my terrible stats
I do not know why they are blue

The top is doyles room 6 max, as is the bottom. The middle is my failed attempt at full tilt 6 max.

This is almost all hands this year. I guess quantity beats quality. Good thing I run goot in MTT:s otherwise I would never have been able to move past NL25 where I simply cannot win.

I am officially on a break now for at least 3 days. This game is driving me mad.

You're WAY too loose. 40% VP$IP is too much even for 6-max.

Re: MOVING BACK UP

you should try widening your raising range in position. &lt; 10% PFR is too low (IMO ideal TAG PFR% is between 15% and 18%) - you're missing out on value. Try making more open raises in the CO and Button, also start punishing limpers ahead of you.

my find my stats range anything from 20/10, 25/18, 32/20, to 30/10... i guess i just adjust to the table im on and loosen/agro accordingly.. seems to work fine.

Re: **Official uNL Stats thread**

I think everyone puts too much emphasis on stats.. The biggest loser in my database is 22/18, he can't play postflop worth [censored].

I run at like 17/11 on average.. some tables i'll be at 25/20 others will be 12/8.. just depends on the people at the table.

holyfield5 02-28-2007 08:26 AM

Re: **Official uNL Stats thread**

i run 22/17 trying to raise my aggression factor its around 2.75 or something.

My numbers will widely vary during my sessions from table to table, some tables ill be over 30 some tables ill be under 15 VPIP but when they average all together its almost always 22.5

I think a winrate of 1.7BB/100 after 25k hands is not that ok. For high stakes yes, but you could do much better at micro's. Maybe better game selection?

oop i dont 3-bet as often, i dont like fighting in huge rr-ed pots oop vs. aggro players. i'll do it if they are habitual blind stealers but whatever. i like 3-betting suited aces, scs, big hands obviously (AK/QQ). i typically cold call more with pairs (not as much OOP though i prob do it 60/40 OOP) and call with hands like QJs in pos or whatever.

overall, i think everyone is too caught up on stats and need to worry more on postflop play.

Right on the money.

My stats are Between 21/17 and 10/12 at lowest it depends a lot on the table conditions really.

Hi guys! These are my stats from the last week, I'm wondering if this is good to go at NL50 or if there's something I should fix before moving up? I took one shot already but it didn't go too well but my roll is now almost ready to take another shot.

Stats look very nice. Winrate also!
Definetly move up, you're too good for NL25. Move back down only if you get a bad run and start losing buyins. 500$ is not excactly the proper bankroll for NL50, but you can start taking shots.

Postflop is where it's at. Preflop generates some good discussion but the differences aren't always that great (in terms of ev) imo whereas people can chunk off big cash postflop with some truly terrible mistakes. Plug these first ftw.

I don't know if this is the thread to post this question in. If not, let me know and I'll delete the comment.

PT's misc. info section shows me as losing money across all of the levels I've played with my 1-pair and 2-pair hands. Is this normal, or do I really need to work on how I play these. The one pair hands I can understand since your folding these a lot, but it worries me that I'm a money loser with two-pair.

You should definitely be a winner with 2-pair type hands. I think it's very standard to be a loser on 1-pair hands, but hopefully you can control this. I'm looking at my stats, and I think I take top pair to showdown too often.

I'm inclined to disagree with this. His Won$WSF is a bit high so he may be running hot. Stats look OK, but saying "too good for NL25" may be premature. Sample size isn't large enough.

Thanks for the comments!

What would the "normal" Won$WSF% be? I have 41.46 over 24k hands (as compared to the above 40.74 over 14k), so it doesn't seem to come from "running hot". Or how big of a sample size are we talking about here?

This is my recent position stats, mostly NL$5 and NL$10, I don't have enough for a significant sample at NL$25 and the site I play Nl£10 doesn't work with pokertracker.

I don't cold call very often, should I be doing that more?

What would W$WSF have to do with running hot, unless his opponents are scared of monsters he has shown down and fold often to him as a result. Won at Showdown would be more indicative of him runing hot or not.

Thank you. The reason I took the time to look at these stats is because I think that I'm too willing to see the showdown when I have a pocket pair and the board pairs at some point. I may post some losing two pair hands over the next week to get some feedback.
