Brag: Need baller car, Beat: From UK so cant get the Infiniti. Damn. Variance:? Everything in UK is damn expensive, Budget Max £35k Around $80k USD Goin Showrooms to buy 2moro so need inspiration asap! [/ QUOTE ] I need a stratagy to go in and barter with them, I have done the following so far, Emailed em with the best quote i could find online (£36k) then undercutting it by 1k and saying my MAX budget is 35, and then gettin them to put the extras in too, imo if i can get it for the 35 with the extras i want, it would be a pretty good bargain.... any1 know how much the markup is on cars like this, I dont really have any other cars that i can test drive to compare with tbh, what other good cars spring to mind for similar price range? |

Audi S3 all the way. You'll get on in the UK for around the £35k mark.

S3?! u recon it compets with the 3series coupe?! imo the coupe is in another league compard to the S3, the A5, and S5 maybe but they are a bit more expensive (+ i think the 335D is faster and more economical)

Are you buying brand new? The depreciation on the beemer is gonna be huge. Its best to buy a used one privately you save lots of £££. look on autotrader. 35k will get you a really nice m3 and put 2k aside for a private plate.

I was hopin the depreciation on beemer wud b huge aswell so i cud pick a nice scnd hand one up.. but alas they dont have it in the 335D so much, (with it being their top of the range engine..) still imo 35 is fair for what u get...
But that damn A5 and S5 are nibbling away at me... :S |

Go in, get info, don't act too interested, dont give them your info. Go back 3 days later, tell them you want to see the invoice and you're willing to pay (or the equivilent of) $1500 over invoice price (on expensive cars 1500 and on lower 750 to 1000) Good luck. |

Get a used BMW.

Tbh there are no other "cool" cars u CAN get that do aswell, there is the lotas but i dont really like the style.. Umm A5/S5, but they work out at around 40-45k, for which price i can look into RS4/M3 material (+ i am not going to be able to get insured on any of them because im 21) 5series is too much of an "oldman" car imo. ill get that when i get a family for now its a coupe FTW I do watch top gear but missing latest series.. hmm time to download it..
