aba won a 200k pot off of him during wsop where he valuebet top set on a scary river, laliberte shoved with ATo high, and aba tanked forever and called.

this was huge news in bbv at the time, and was many people's introduction to aba

I had the pleasure of playing with him as he was learning the game in 25/50 and 50/100 a while back. Real nice guy. I wouldn't be suprised at all if he is a solid player now.

This is what I've heard aswell, but the cruise was intended as a holiday but they got bored and sent two deckhands to the mirage for dealer training.

They were playing 200/400 but it was always straddled to 800 and often to 1600. Its super crazy considering the game was 6 handed mostly.

There's 6 75/150 tables running on FTP right now and 3 of them have seats available. The two tables noataima is at have waiting lists of 6 and 8 people. LOL.

According to Highstakes DB he's the biggest loser in the FTP hold'em games this year, losing about 1.75 mil; but that's just chump change for him.

Re: GUY LALIBERTE

For what it's worth, we met at the championship and Guy struck me as a very good guy. Very down to earth. As a gag, I asked him in one of our video interviews if, as the 664th richest man in the world, he'd entered the event in the hope he'd climb to 663. He answered "Yes, I'm hoping this will increase my financial profile." Good chats off video too.
