Common situation, yet I\'m uncertain what\'s the best play

Villain is playing 34/6/4 and I'm playing TAG. What's our plan?

Everest Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00/$4.00 (HH Converter by Kreatief)

SB ($444.10) (Hero)
BB ($131.20)
MP3 ($40.00)
CO ($106.40)
Button ($162.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12.00</font>, BB calls $8.00,

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ( $26 )
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $17.00</font>, BB calls $17.00,

Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ( $60 )
Hero ?

Okay, no c/c against normal bet on river if a complete blank falls?

I kind of like a check call on river depending on the card

raise to $16 pf imo.

as played i bet $22 on flop, then a bit less than pot on turn.

even if he calls turn im not that averse to firing river as a bluff. i know some will say that is incredibly stupid, as a K is probably always calling and everything else is folding, but i think K sometimes folds, and i think it could be worth it.

check-call turn is way too passive imo. your setting yourself for being valuetowned on the river, and weakens you when you have the K.

Depends on the bet size I guess. This is why making good reads within 30 hands is very +EV

Hm, I definitley think a check/call on a blank river gain you more money that that play - bigger chance that he bluff with missed draw than he folds a K.

Okay, do you call a PB? 3/4 PB? 1/2 PB?

I like checking the flop sometimes versus average aggro players. Other wise 2 barrels is pretty ok too but it would be a lot better in position.

I'd say a 34/6 isn't going to bet more then 2/3 as a bluff.

Really? I think people hit the PB button pretty often when they bluff their missed draws. It may sound weird, but I would almost be more worried about a 1/2 PB (even though I call).

EDIT: on EVP they have a PB-button, but you can't opt between different bet sizes - i.e. only bet 100% of pot.

34/6 says to me "I like keeping my risk per hand kind of low". But in the end, odds are the main thing. The bigger the bet, the more you have to be right. Without a read, I lean towards smaller bets being callable.
