Ok so for some reason I can't find the thread I started, but I'm interested in testing out some staking for some tourneys today. I'm mostly a cash player but I'd like to experiment with backing a few players in some mid-range buy-in tourneys...

I'm willing to go 65/35 split on mid-range tourneys on FullTilt and PokerStars. Reply back with your name on those sites, which tourney you're interesetd in, and also post some pics of your stats or sharkscope numbers.

Thanks in advance. Also, as always, good posting count and known players have a better shot. Also, depending on the player, I'm willing to possibly experiment with higher buy-in stakes.

In a few hours I will be trying to qualify for the main event on FTP but am happy to be steaked for the $150 FTOPS headhunter in 30 mins.

I gave my fairly weak credentials in the other thread but Timex can tell you, myself and a mate (Maddie84 on here) played the $2600 Ladbrokes Leocop main event and cashed for $7200 - unfortunately I was on a very small percentage [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Tbh it's not even that much of a risk - all you have to do is knock two people out and you've nearly recovered half the buy-in already....Having played the horse event (read in mtt community) I don't have $163 to be chucking around although it might be my night...

I'm williemays7 (miles city) at Stars. Is the Sunday million too high of a stake? Willing to go 30-70 + if I cash give you your buy-in back as well.

If not I'd like to play in the $55 $50K gaurantee at 21:30 EST.

I wouldn't mind a buy-in to the fifty-fifty on FTP tonight (the 18th). It starts at 21:30 with a buy-in of 50+5 and a 50,000 guarantee. I normally play micro cash games and have been playing very well as of late. I am sustaining a decent win rate after doing a lot of reading and studying on 2 + 2.

I originally built my bankroll from 6 man SNG's, and Head's up SNG's. I hit a bad run of cards playing SNG and converted to cash games.

As for MTT tournies I have a very good record and have actually cashed in 7 of the last 8 I've played in. I have cashed in The Ferguson twice, The 24+2 17,000 guarantee 3 times, and finished 3rd in the nightly 5+.50 HA (rotating PLHE, PLO) event.

I know my post count is pretty low, but I have been lurking 2 + 2 now for a long time. I have recently started posting hands and contributing my own knowledge and I only wish I would have started sooner. i have limited success on FTP and have never had success on stars although my sample on both of those sites is small.

on bodog though i have an ROI of over 100% over 300 mtt in the past year and have won the 25k and the TLB for the week and beat david williams HU for 3k.

i have won plenty other mtts but have had to cash out for college expenses hence my looking for a stake.

I am interested in stake for some $11-$33 dollar tournaments, on stars my results on Stars are not very good, I did mych better on UB and CD poker. Here are my stats.

I would assume so, they deleted his other staking thread, nothing against the OP, but I sure wouldn't send him any info that was too personal, but to be fair to him, it would be moronic to try to scam a bunch of broke players needing a stake, so who knows

It's not a hoax, I posted last night before I went to sleep and woke up to a deleted thread.

This morning I posted before work and have just now had a chance to read some of the replies, I'll be off in an hour or so.

How could someone trying to STAKE be a hoax, they are the ones SENDING the money and taking the RISK. Now if I was asking to be staked, I'd understand the critics.

I'll be responding in a bit to some of these and some of the evening tourneys I mite do a few test runs on...
