NL25 NFD GSSD I lost a lot of value

Villain is 15/14 over 70 hands. We are both very deepstacked. I think I gave him way too much respect here. Lead flop or C/R flop? What is a good line to take here?

With 100BB stacks this is a fold preflop every time, but deepstacked I guess I don't mind your call too much. On the flop, you should be looking for ways to get a lot of money into the pot. Either C/R of B/3B. Either should be fine, and I'm really not sure which I prefer. C/C is pretty gross, though.

This is about as good a flop as you could hope for. 12 outs to the nuts. If you aren't building the pot here then fold pre-flop.

Lead the flop and get it in if possible.
Check calling is the worst option as was said above.

Your OPP so you have to play it agressively, check raise it to ~5.5 and pot the that turn, you want FE with your hand.

Not a big fan of a CR here. What do you hope to accomplish? If he pushes youre prob behind altho not much. If hes calling youre in a bad spot if the turn is a blank. The only thing youre really hoping for is a fold.

I like a bet-3betpush. If he calls Id bet 2/3 pot on any turn and fold to a push. I think you have about the same FE with that line and you get to see the turn cheaper. I dont mind the way you played it either. Vs this guy I probably bet half pot river, youll get looked up by JJ, QJ often enough I think. I cant see him bluffing with much on the river make checking more worthwhile.

Imo this is an easy, easy fold since we are behind his range, and play a pot oop with big stacks.

bet/3bet or cr is much better than c/c

No, its not. Why do people keep making broad statements like this

OP, on the flop you should raise, bet and do whatever to get money in. You have a very strong draw and you should be looking to take advantage of that equity. As played, I think you should be betting the river because if he has an ace he has played it very weakly.

Well to me it is an easy fold pf. If not a fold it's a raise, maybe. Calling oop with a hand that is easily dominated by his range (and imo dominated is worse than crushed) with big stacks is simply not in my arsenal.

I also don't think it is a broad statement. KQs plays bad in this situation imho. Please tell me why this is too broad for your taste.

Saying its a fold "every time" implies that its an obvious and unarguable fold, which I disagree with. I can think of heaps of situations to call, most of which involve outplaying my opponent on later streets or extracting/cring a strong draw on the flop.

Im not debating that a fold is good, I think its fine, but to say its a fold every time is misleading

Well okay. I still don't think saying it is a fold pf is too broad. Ofc you may want to outplay someone after the flop and get into pots you wouldn't otherwise get into just because he is a donk. But that starts with getting involved in situations where you have position. Whether or not you have position is part of the donkness factor, imo.

That being said, I am sure KQs is strong enough for some people in SSNL or higher to outplay even the regs of micro stakes, but in microstakes forum I think people should rather focus on having position rather than outplaying oop. This includes me btw.

That's why, in micro stakes forum context, I think this is a fold pf.

That being said I see your point and agree with it to some extent.
