CHI/ARZ Thread

LOL at Robbie Gould segment. That had me going for a solid 2 minutes. I was almost offended when he said last year was the lowest point of his life...as a human.

Re: CHI/ARZ Thread

I was originally going with the Bears 44, Arizona 7.

But with Ditka doing the pre-game intro, I'd like to change that to Da Bears 242, Arizona 0.

I don't think it'll be necessarily close, but I could see it being something like 24-7.

Matt Leinart dated Paris Hilton so we know he can hit a wide open reciever.

I really wish Kornheiser would give up his overly dramatic pieces, they sound really bad. He's much better during the game.

And any idea why my ESPN HD looks like a bad streaming video connection? Regular ESPN is fine and the other HD channels are fine.

I think it's your TV. In my opinion ESPN has the best HD.

that 3rd down throw by Leinart was pretty terrific. Every time I watch him & Rivers play I want to cry

Totally agree. Sorta like Adam Corolla...much better unscripted.

Young QB takes them down field on first series at home against tough defense. We'll see if the Bears can warm up.

Re: CHI/ARZ Thread

God these announcers suck. Stop talking about how great the Bears defense is when a rookie QB is lighting them up.

Re: CHI/ARZ Thread

1) Why is Theisman saying that dropped INT will hurt the Cardinals? That cost Arizona 10 or maybe 20 yards of field position... not a big deal

2) The reciever (CHI #81) didn't expect that long pass on third and short. I think he was just running a decoy route. And he wasn't open, why did Rex throw that pass?

Boldin is such a beast. It takes 4 or 5 Bears to take him down each time. Since he's on the Cardinals I haven't gotten to see him play very much over the past couple years, but he basically looks like a bigger, stronger, faster Hines Ward.

This is what I thought when it looked like he was playfully jawing with the Bears after 3 or 4 had to gang tackle him

Philadelphia needs to learn how to not turn the ball over when their own player runs into the punt returner. Chicago obviously has that down pat.

I could have sworn Boldin used to be really skinny, did he bulk up a ton or is my memory fuzzy?

The things behind the goal posts are tables with chairs around them. I guess there's a food court back there or something.

He's bulked up a good bit since his college years, but I don't think he was ever "skinny" as far as WRs go.

Re: CHI/ARZ Thread

I got AZ plus 2 TDs. I might take Bears 2nd half or under. This is looking like Bolts 49ers to me. Announcers right about one thing, Bears came out cocky. AZ is spirited at home. Let Bears get pissed off. Difference is Grossman takes a lot of chances with the ball, AZ defense playing well.
