PLO Forum Poster Tourney

I feel like it about time we had another private tournament for PLO posters/lurkers/fanboys. I am thinking next Sunday, November 5th at one of the following times on Poker Stars, plz vote.

Also, I am thinking the best way to include everyone is to have a low buy-in again ($20) and for all mid/high players we can form a side prize-pool, last-longers, prop bets, etc.

edit: Just to avoid the predictable appearance of Mason Malmuth in this thread, this tourney will be in no way associated with or sponsored by 2p2 Publishing LLC.

I voted for 6 PM West Coast time, but 5 PM West Coast time (that's 8 PM East Coast, right?) would be ideal.

I'm game. Voted for 3pm though since a 6pm PST start time means 2am for me here in merry old England

I think we have to do this on the weekend. Too much of a balance between the US and Europe.

I'm fine with Sunday. I think there's a reason the sites have their big weekly tounaments on Sundays, besides scheduling it around your day to go on tilt.

I want deep stacks, or rebuys. Slow blinds. Not a crapshoot structure. Lets have some room for playing a hand.

Wow you guys are one equally divided bunch

I will check on deep stacks. If the voting is still mixed like this I may just exercise my executive powers and split the difference in attempt to appease [censored] sapiens both euro and not.

wow, i know it's been forever since i posted in this forum, but i don't even recognize everyone.

hi, i'm crockpot. i used to play pot-limit omaha, and got back on the horse today. i'm in for this tourney and welcome any sidebet propositions against me, assuming i remember to play. (hell, you can get +ev just by taking the "no" on that.)

can i suggest that if we're going to have prop and sidebets (which generally just make people play sub-optimally, but sometimes can put the squeeze on other players), they should at least all be out in the open?

Crushin Felt,

LOL.

Pete,

I couldn't agree more. Last time I tried to encourage a lot of side betting, last-longers, etc and only a few got made but all were out in the open.
