In Toronto for 1 night, where should I go?

What it do?

I'm going to the Virgin Music festival, just got here after a 15 hour drive. What should I do after the Arctic Monkeys play (yeah, I'm not going to stay and watch Bjork...)? Best bar/area with bars?

I'm stayin at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Toronto, so I'd like to stay kinda close.

Ship it BB4L, gimme a plan of attack.

there's an afterparty with free beer at the bovine. the phenix is decent for modern rock. don't know about dance-type clubs, but i'm sure google can provide many answers in that regard.

"You weren't thinking about going anywhere were you?" breath on her neck and the whisper in her ear made her shiver, "Not after we made a deal. You lost the bet sweetheart, time to pay up." He turned her to face him, dark eyes burning down into hers.

I think we're kind of close to this. Are there a lot of good bars in this area?

lolol...there are some bars but i suggested it mostly because of the hookers... if you're looking for an area with good bars i'd rec bloor between bathurst and spadina. i'm a social shut in myself but the few times i have passed by there on a weekend evening it looks nicely populated with a university/college crowd... the yorkville sugesstion might be good though

I definitely want some Canadian herpes. Ship it.

I guess I just go wander around and try to find something somewhat worthwhile?

Thanks much [censored];

The Jane-Finch community is also home to Canada's largest concentration of criminal gangs. The Jane-Finch community has one of the largest proportions of youth, sole-supported families, refugees and immigrants, low-income earners, and public housing tenants of any community in Toronto” (p.5, A Report of the Jane-Finch Street Involved Youth Issues Coalition, December 2002).

As well, there is a substantial and equally diverse population living in middle class detached, semi-detached, townhouses and high-rises.

Jane and Finch has a longstanding notoriety as one of Toronto's most violent neighbourhoods.
