Consecutive days of boozing?

Whats the most consecative days you have gone boozing? I drank four days in a row Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I feel like the biggest soak, and going to take a month off of drinking.

In the future, please sober up enough to post this in an appropriate forum.

What do we define as "days of boozing" here? This changes my number a lot depending on if you have to actually be drunk at some point during the day.

OP's number is pretty low though.

I think the real question with a thread like this is at what point does it switch from impressive to pathetic?

Probably only Henry Earl could tell us how the whole dynamic changes as the length increases.

23 days... NO joke

I was at a work function for a month where I was suppose to be training a new branch. Basically the training took a week; myself, the managers, and the rest of the trainers just drank everyday at the hotel bar on our companies tab.

It was awesome. Of course... I think I have a kid somewhere in Portland that I've never met... but whatever.

Re: Consecutive days of boozing?

Assuming you mean serious drinking--having a couple beers watching the game doesn't count--it would have to be the roughly three weeks following my 21st birthday when seemingly every friend and acquaintance I knew wanted to go out drinking with me. At the end of the third week, I had nearly finished a fifth of Jameson by myself at a party and didn't even feel that drunk. This was a big sign I needed to slow down.

Roughly 2000 days...six years or so.

But I need to ask the rules here--on the days I got drunk twice, do they count as two?

Finally, thankfully, and by the Grace of God, I was saved by heroin addiction.

i can't quite put my finger on it, but something doesn't sound right here.

also, i knew an alcoholic in college, while I don't know if he's never ever missed a single day, but i'm guessing the number of continuous days in a row he's been blackout drunk is in the thousands. I've hung out with him for like 8 hours before and the next day he didn't remember seeing me... so yea.

I went through a time a couple years ago where I was little more than a drunk. It lasted a little more than a month and I drank about 1/2 a bottle of vodka a night.

In college, me and a friend went to our pub 30 days in a row, each visit consisting of 5 drinks or more.

I'd still say that isn't thread-worthy. 4? ha!

maybe 3 or 4 months then a day off, followed by another 3 or months. While I don't doubt the lentgh of some of the numbers people are giving, I do doubt the accuracy. Who counts to the day after the first month, do you mark a calendar, or set some goal before you start?

Re: Consecutive days of boozing?

In my early 20s, from 19-22 I drank daily. I believe in 1989 I drank every day of the year except 3 and I am not kidding. I remember one day sitting at my girlfriends house around 6 in the evening and shaking because I had not had a drink yet that day. AND I WAS FRICKING 20 YEARS OLD!
