Thanks for linking to our live updates, entertainme. :-)

For those sweating TheUsher (or anyone else), I'm always open to constructive criticism about the coverage -- I'll be the one writing the hand-by-hand updates on Sunday.

We're not certain about our internet access yet, as the WPT Final Table is being set up in a different location than the first three days of the tournament (it'll be taped in a nearby restaurant with the beach as a backdrop). If we have no net access there, our backup plan is to type the updates into a text file, and pass them off to a runner every 10 hands or so to take them to a location that does have internet access. Regardless of what it takes, we will somehow get you full coverage of every hand on a timely basis. (Unless internet access for the entire island disappears, as it supposedly did for about 15-20 minutes yesterday.)

And sometime later today, I'll post bios for the six final tablists. You'll be able to find them by clicking the "Live updates here" link that entertainme provided above.

Try to made each entry an orbit of hands. This would make it easier for us to follow the location of the button and blinds.

With each update of the chip counts, please include the current blinds and antes.

I hadn't thought of that -- one update per orbit makes a lot of sense. If we update the hands in batches tomorrow, I'll plan to do it that way.

I also like the idea of current blinds and antes being listed with the chip counts. That's a pretty easy thing that I'll try to include from now on.

Thanks, jogsxyz!

This is a small thing and other might disagree but when sweating live the drama is ruined when you see John Smith eliminated in 6th place as the headline.

BJ, you'd think the WPT could invest in a broadband card for your laptop.

Go Sass!

We all have broadband cards, but being out of the country makes it useless. The internet connection is killing us today, so please excuse us if there are double posts or other quirks -- better double posts than no posts, right?

Part of the problem is connecting to admin servers. 2+2 is actually loading much better for me right now.

Whoo hoo! Ship the chip lead!

[ QUOTE ]
Hand #25 - Nam Le has the button in seat 1, Sass raises from the cutoff to 27,000, Cajelais calls from the small blind, and Campbell calls from the big blind. The flop comes JC 9S 8H, Cajelais and Campbell check, Sass bets 47,000, Cajelais raises to 160,000, Campbell folds, and Sass moves all in. Cajelais asks for a chip count, and it's another 303,000 (463,000 total).

Cajelais calls with JH 9H (two pair), and Sass shows KD KS, and he'll need to improve to stay alive.

The turn card is the 4D, and Sass needs a king, an eight, or a four to survive. The river card is the -- 8S! Alan Sass rivers a higher two pair to win the pot and double into the chip lead with about a million in chips.

Pretty unreasonable to sue the tournament that was rigged in your favor.

Do you think the dude with the super account on Absolute is gonna sue them for their faulty software?

Live poker is so rigged.
