SLOW GAME: Welcome to the Bay Area (Werewolf, Northern CA edition)
We have transported Pogglesworth from Greater Nowhere to the Greater Bay Area. Rather than humble villagers (not that there's anything wrong with that), the Poggleonians are now a sophisticated and diverse set of urbanites. Poggleonians are many things, and believe in celebrating their diversity. It is possible, however, that the newest Poggleonians may be too outside the norm even for this area...
:::::::::::::::IT IS DAY::::::::::::::: Morning dawns, and, as is their habit, the local Poggleonians congregate at the original Peet's coffee house. Located at Walnut and Vine, the store has been open since 1966. In the '70s, this part of town became known as the "Gourmet Ghetto" for the small shops emphasizing fresh artisanal foods before they became trendy. Most of the Poggleonians are appreciatively inhaling the aroma of Peet's Free Trade Blend Coffee, although a few have opted for Peet's Snow Leopard whole leaf white tea. http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/2...etsfairxm1.gif The cheerful bustle of Peet's morning rush has subsided around them when the news finally leaks out. A Poggleonian is leisurely browsing the San Francisco Gate on his wireless laptop when he finds a tiny item on Pogglestown. An unnamed but important Poggleonian died last night under suspicious circumstances. Circumstances that indicate there are werewolves in town. At first, there is confusion and the citizenry debates a bit over whether they now need to make Pogglestown public buildings "Lupine Friendly". Some take umbrage at the anti-social behavior of their new residents. They have killed a Poggleonian, and apparently, they also think nothing of wearing fur coats. A werewolf rehabiliation program is proposed. Ultimately, though, this position is discarded, and more militant elements prevail. The 1rst daily "Take Back the Night" rally/mob gets underway... Still Alive: 12 Poggleonians, 4 Lupine Enhanced Persons (hereafter referred to as LEPs to avoid the negative connotations associated with WWs), 1 Seer (the mysteriously unnamed owner of the local occult shop). 9 votes will guarantee the recipient a one-way journey to Alcatraz aka "The Rock" |

distracting filler followed by the random vote
I'll give half a villager point* to anyone that can explain why giving this explanation is worth any half villager points * no actual value |

Re: SLOW GAME: Welcome to the Bay Area (Werewolf, Northern CA edition)
I'm gonna wait until we get more replies to the first one and then I'll make a pole asking which people voted for which choices
|
Re: SLOW GAME: Welcome to the Bay Area (Werewolf, Northern CA edition)
Oh good, soah and Mets are probably villagers.
All valid reasons .. but the main reason is this: [ QUOTE ] See you then! [/ QUOTE ] OMG, yeah! Evening time is the best! It will be so great! I can't wait! So here's an exclamtion point, just to show how wonderful and exciting it will be! Yay! / over-analyzation of HBE's exclamation point. |
Re: SLOW GAME: Welcome to the Bay Area (Werewolf, Northern CA edition)
Hopefully you guys will stop making poles ... and just stick to polls.
|
Re: SLOW GAME: Welcome to the Bay Area (Werewolf, Northern CA edition)
I give you a higher probability of being a wolf than elroy at this point
make of that what you wish |

IS there a minimum post requirement? [/ QUOTE ] I don't really understand why roundtower got two votes right after saying this. Fnord usually has "inclinations" and such ... but just a nekkid vote... don't know what to make of stephen's post. OK all! I'm going to work! I'll check back in later! |
Re: SLOW GAME: Welcome to the Bay Area (Werewolf, Northern CA edition)
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that he got two votes for it because it was pretty [censored] wolfy.
|
Re: SLOW GAME: Welcome to the Bay Area (Werewolf, Northern CA edition)
Hey Soah, how about this. For the rest of the game, whatever I say, you say the opposite.
It's totally villagery unless it's an angleshoot. |

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that he got two votes for it because it was pretty [censored] wolfy. [/ QUOTE ] Actually, that's not why I voted for him at all. This is his first long game (right?) and I wanted to see what would happen if he caught a vote - less experienced players give more info from early votes than more experienced players. I'm still deciding what I think of his "don't vote me, i'm a villager" reply. |
