For all of you joining DN and I in renting the semi-reality TV show masterpiece (AKA The Joe Schmo Show) this is our thread. Revisiting this will be a blast for those of us who have seen it... for those who have not, please treat yourself. If memory serves...."Hands on a Hooker" is episode number 1. Discussion can start as soon as we get some viewers of this fine comedic entertainment.

I will try to find episodes online to post links if they are available. Anyone else that finds them please post.

Anyone from LA should recognize the host as Ralph Garman from KROQ's Kevin & Bean show. He's awesome as is the whole show. The reveal moment at the end of season one is one of the most priceless moments in all of reality TV. "What's going on!?!?!"

Season 2 is actually really good too.

That was the first time I had ever seen what Ralph looks like. He is the only reason to listen to Kevin&Bean in the mornings, and he plays the smarmy host very well in this show.

This show was extremely entertaining(if just for how BAD the actors in the show are, they make Horatio Sanz look blank-faced) and the person that plays Joe Schmo is the perfect guy for the part. I highly recommend this DVD.

Is Season 2 on DVD? I missed that one.

I only saw Season 2. It was easily my favorite "reality" show ever. I had a friend who saw both seasons, he said S1 was awesome but S2 definitely had more LOL moments because it was so much more over the top. Unfortunately, ratings took a tank for S2 and they were showing it in a crappy time slot anyway (Monday nights at like 11PM my time) so it was destined to fail.

That said, anyone who can watch this show should.

screw lookin for episodes online...this show is worth the few bucks to rent....I will have by thursday....anyone else gonna relive the schmo ????

I liked season one 100x better than two - the "Joe Schmo" in season one was so perfectly cast that it cannot be surpassed in excellence.

Anyone know if the DVD actually has nudity? That Blonde "virgin" had a bueatiful rack and I think her top flew off in the pool once or twice...makes it worth the rental price right there...hell I might buy it.

This was awesome. I actually think 2 was better than 1, mainly because of the whole Bryce thing. I was hoping that it would come out on DVD.
