Have you seen the new Pokerstars tv ad with Daniel??

Daniel is out running along some highway to nowhere blabbing about how he loves the challenge. Ties it all in somehow with playing poker at Pokerstars. Final shot is him running off to who knows where (prob to pickup his endorsement check).

What a douchey ad.

I saw it too, I didn't know he was a jogger. lol I saw him playing 30/60 2-7 triple draw last night on PS. He had 30 donks in waiting line, one by one they were paying him off and going bust. He was very cordial, chatting with railbirds that had good questions.

i thought it was a pretty good commercial. i have mixed feeling about DN, but I don't see how the commercial was bad.

i like DN but that commercial felt rushed together and as if it was filmed on some sort of low grade camera.

too bad daniel is one of the most inconsistent poker players after 2004... cuz hes a dope guy... (that loves himself)

I suppose anyone would look "inconsistent" after having what was arguably the best year of Poker ever. No one can continuously put up scores the way Daniel did in 04, Grinder did last year, or JC is doing this year. Seriously.

Negreanu seems like a genuinely good person. Only time ive seen him get angry is when he got megacoolered almost a dozen times on HSP, anyone would be a little pissed at that. I probably wouldve got up and punched something after the 66 vs 55 hand

Kind of. He has a syndicated column called 'on the flop' which runs like once a week. Plus he makes regular radio appearances, gets on something called CGTV alot (casino gaming TV).
Household name? No. The most fawned over poker phenom in Canada? Yes.

Granted, Daniel's promo piece wasn't of high quality, but it sure was a breath of fresh air, compared to Moneymaker's and Raymer's, "Same guy, just a nicer watch or car", nonsense.

Very bad commercial, lol at it making Daniel seem like a marathon runner or triathlete or something and lol at them putting him hitting golf balls in it. You just know that was his idea.
