EDF: Let\'s Make A Quiz
 

I was introduced to the term "metrosexual" several years ago via an article in the college newspaper. The guy who wrote it was basically in the closet. I remember passages that said things to the effect of, "So maybe I do love N'Sync and ballet dancing...." Basically, my first definition of the word was synonymous with "in the closet."

I have since learned that there is a broader scope to this. So, let's create a quiz. We can come up with a list of criteria (50-100 questions) that are worth X amount of points to determine how metrosexual a man is.

***NOTE: I'm sure this exists somewhere else on the internets, but I thought it could be entertaining to do it from scratch. Nominate question and we'll put together a master list.

Two off the top of my head:

Use of hair styling products
Shaving anything besides your face

Most of these questions suck because they don't apply universally and there are a lot of people I can think of that would answer yes for one here or there but is definitely not metro. This is so stupid. Move to OOT.

Ja,

You're missing the point. The idea is to come up with a bunch of questions. These questions make the quiz. Only being able to answer a few "here and there" would give someone a very low score on our metrosexual scale. Answering "yes" to any one question, or two, or three, doesn't make you a metrosexual.

I can say that I do a bunch of the things listed here and I am in no way gay or in the closet. I think that one that is not listed should be: Take male friends along with you when you go clothes shopping, asking their opinion oon how you look.

I think one of the defining characteristics of a metrosexual is being straight, so I'm not sure why so many posts are conflating gay and metro. Like Badger says, if metros were gay, they'd be homosexuals.

so far i believe the list is

- Using hair product
- waxing/plucking eyebrows
- Any product/service for nails
- Manbag
- Shaving anything but your face
- "Girly" Drinks (ex: appletini)
- Facial moisturizer
- White belt
- Sits to pee
- Wears pink regularly
- takes longer to get ready than significant other

I think i'll add this one

"uses shampoo that smells of fruity woman scent."

A man's shampoo should NOT smell like honey-lilac-pomegranite-explosion imo.
