Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
I call this cause he's a donk. If you're behind, then just get it back from him later. If you were as deep as him I might fold, but you've already got 20% of your stack in so [censored] him and his grossly misplayed JQ.

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
I think you are definitely ahead of his range, especially since the board has two aces (making it less likely he has one than if the board had one).
|
Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
Another thing to keep in mind is that if he really had an ace or jacks or something huge, he is just so unlikely to shove the turn like that.

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
i'd fold here and wait for a better spot. there are not a lot of donks on ps that can make a bluff of this magnitude. i think this is an ace such a large % of the time, that you're making a losing call on the turn. in my experience, super loose donks, that arent so aggressive usually overbet when they have something, because people are already waiting to make a hand and they usually call because "no fckn way he has it again".
call on flop, sweat on river if you called, i guess. pretty straightforward. |
Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
Call; he expects you to raise the flop with an ace, so he's trying to move you off your hand (or "protect" his two pair). Don't these guys always check-minraise the flop when they have an ace?

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
I call and expect to see some random J or QT clubs.
These sort of players can't play their big hands the same as they play their random bluffs, so he rarely, if ever has an A here. |
Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
I'm calling if I feel right... Trust your guts and go.
Timing is really important with the bet too. |

Fold and wait for a better spot, unless you have seen him make these type of plays before with air.

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
Fold, imo he has JJ and is hoping you have AK.
There is no reason you wouldnt slowplay AK on that flop. |

[ QUOTE ] Timing is really important with the bet too. [/ QUOTE ] Could you elaborate a bit on that? [/ QUOTE ] It's hard for me to elaborate as a lot of it is based on subconscious feel that you develop over a lot of hands by paying attention. (Kind of like the book Blink by Malcom Gladwell). But.. that being said - I'll try. I think if he shoves real quick he's not as strong. He'd have to think a little bit of his bet size with an A or JJ and Nath had a good point about the flop play. with minraises. |

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
Also, I totally agree with Slider's posts.

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
I'd fold and just wait. If someone is donkish enough to do this, they'll hand me their money later on as well.

Re: 100NL KK on AAJr flop
i fold, i dont know form my experiences they have an ace here like 9 times out of 10
