5/10 NLHE grinding

If you guys played 5/10 NLHE, what do you suppose your optimal table mixture would be, and how much would your winrate be? I don't use PT but I think for me it is a HU table and then three or four 6 max tables, am guessing that would come out to $900 an hour.

Re: 5/10 NLHE grinding

why not just play 2 HU tables. That should come to at least $800/hr and it's easier to keep track of 2 opponents instead of 20.

I doubt you could get 900/hour at current 5/10 games.

Re: 5/10 NLHE grinding

Bruiser,

I will bet you 100k that you can't make $900/hr over a large sample size playing 1 HU table and 3 6-max tables at 5/10 NL on FTP or Stars.

PM or IM me for details and terms.

Sincerely,
FoxwoodsFiend

P.S. Don't take this personally

bruiser, don't let fwf lowball you with his prop bet offer. i will make the same bet he offered you, but give you 1 hu table and FOUR 6-max tables (the higher end of the range you stated in your op).

p.s., sick burn on kkf.

Re: 5/10 NLHE grinding

how much do you guys think is reasonable to make with the 1 HU and 4 6 max tables?

500-600 probably.

5ptbb/100 at 6max, but it would be hard to get constant action at HU where your winrate is large.

I disagree, poker is a zero sum game and I can easily lose ?1k an hour, so it is possible to win more than 1k an hour imho.

With how tough the games are, $1K an hour is not sustainable.

You can quite easily lose $3K or more in an hour if you choose to. All you gotta do is keep reloading. The hourly amount you can lose over time is almost unlimited where your hourly winrate has a cap.

that is exactly the point fool! its easy to lose a lot of money fast. that means it is POSSIBLE to win a lot. the ingredient is a lot of mental discipline which people have to varying extents, and no one has it anywhere near 100% perfection.
