Anything I need before I enter, etc. etc. [/ QUOTE ] The freeroll is for Harrahs's Total reward players who got an invite, and it's on September 17th, not Otober 17th (I got an invite, but I can't attend, as I don't have any more time off of work until October), unless that's another event I'm thinking of in September. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Caesar's website says the freeroll is Oct 17th. This is the first day of the WSOP Circuit events. See details at their website. Anyone else know anything about this freeroll?

Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
If all works out, I think I'm gonna head out to play a couple these events. Definately event 10, probably 11, and then a couple of the $500s and hopefully the $5K ME if I can win a satellite.

Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
I'm going to post the Blind Struture schedules I got via e-mail from an employee in the Ceasars Indiana. If anyone wants them in word.doc format (before they get posted to the WSOP website), PM me with your e-mail addy and I will send it along to you (this as they are not formatted here, in 'row' order).
It also appears they might of updated the schedule of events (which ones will be held, how much, and when) as well here (which I think is different from the the OP's first post in this thread): http://tinyurl.com/34rt3c here is the first one: Caesar’s Indiana Presents A World Series of Poker Circuit Events # 1, #5, #8 and #12 No-Limit Hold’em $300 Buy-In + $40 Entry Fee Schedule of Play Level Ante Small Blind Big Blind 1 $25 $25 2 $25 $50 3 $50 $100 4 $100 $200 5 $25 $100 $200 6 $50 $200 $400 7 $75 $300 $600 Race off $25 Chips 8 $100 $400 $800 9 $200 $600 $1200 10 $200 $800 $1600 11 $300 $1000 $2000 12 $400 $1500 $3000 Race off $100 Chips 13 $500 $2000 $4000 14 $500 $3000 $6000 Race off $500 Chips 15 $1000 $4000 $8000 16 $2000 $6000 $12000 17 $2000 $8000 $16000 18 $3000 $10000 $20000 19 $4000 $15000 $30000 20 $5000 $20000 $40000 General Rules Players will start with 2,000 in chips. Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Is there anyone else (other than me) from 2+2 who is planning on attending this event?
I will be there the last weekend in October myself. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Single table satellites will range from $35 to $550 and will run daily from 9am until 3am. The free roll on October 17th is open to everyone. If you play in the Midnight tournament on the 16th you will automatically receive a seat in the free roll the following day. If you do not play in the free roll we will start handing out tickets at 6am. At 11am we will begin calling ticket numbers for players to register. We will have 53 tables for this tournament, so we will seat 530 players to begin. We will seat alternates until 5pm. The levels are 15 minutes long and everyone starts with $1,000 in chips. There is 1 optional rebuy for $5 and you get an extra $500 in chips. I am expecting to seat over 1,000 in this tournament. The top prize is $25,000 and a seat in the WSOPCE Main Event. 2nd and 3rd place will also receive a seat, but no cash. I look forward to meeting some of you all at our event. Thanks!

Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
wtf is wrong with Harrahs and the WSOPc payouts?
Checked some past events and some did'nt even get their buyin back for cashing. That's [censored]. Most decent casinos see to it that if you cash you get your buyin back. Check this link: http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/to...mp;groupID=359 Looks much worse than any tournament at The Borgata. WSOPc are wayyyyy too top heavy. |

pdogger, I will say indeed that of all the Casinos that Harrahs owns, that Caesers Indiana is the best I've played in to date. Jimmy Allen runs a tight ship there, and it shows.
FWIW, I don't know if it's true or not, but I've been hearing rumors that the Heartland Poker Tour might be making a stop there sometime next year. If they do, it'll be a huge turnout that's for sure. As for me, I'll be there the last weekend of October, as I plan on playing in the WSOPCE $500 (Friday) and $1k (Saturday) events during that time period. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
There's a good chance I'll be able to play at least a couple of these events. At least the 1K and the Main event, and maybe a couple of the smaller ones if I can take the whole week off.
If I'm there, I should be easy to spot as I will be wearing my white Pujols' jersey. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Also, One plus about this particular Harrahs location ... you can reserve your seat (and you then pay by Credit Card by registering) in Advance for any event there (they also do this for thier normal events as well BTW), by calling the poker room after 11 AM Eastern (I forget the cut off time), M-F at 800-660-9744, option #1.
In order to register this way, you'll also need to already have a Harrah's reward Players card, and have it ready, before you call. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Cincy, when you reserve your seat in advance by using your Harrah's Player Rewards card, do you also have to give them your credit card info? I ask because I'd like to reserve a seat, but pay in person (in cash rather than credit card).
Also, do you (or anyone) know where would be the best place to stay? Any special offers during the week of the tournament? |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Yes, you do (have) give them your credit card to reserve the seat. However, they (your credit card company) won't charge you like a cash advance, it's like a merchandise purchase (at least that's how it's been for me in the past).
As for Casears Indiana, well, they will charge you an arm and a leg for a room, but they are nice rooms (even if the walls are paper thin) overall with nice beds. I've never known them to offer a poker room rate, like the rest of the Harrahs properties do, but you can always call and ask. Otherwise, you're only other choice is Downtown Louisville, KY, or New Albany, IN (both about 10 to 12 miles from the casino). While I've not stayed there myself, I've heard that the Holiday Inn in New Albany is really nice (and the rates are normally under 100 bucks a night). http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/1/en...s%3Dy&ias=y For myself, I'm a platnium member of Harrahs, so I pretty much get my rooms for free most of the time, and this time I will only pay $69 for all 3 nights because of that factor. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Cincy,
Who do you know there? I'm diamond and was quoted full price for 2 different weekend dates. Caesar's Indiana has always been terrible with comps. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
I played one single table sat for 65.00 last year at Caesars IN WSOPc and it sucked. We were given all red chips, were told they represent 100 dollars each and blinds started at 50/50.
We were given only 4 chips each. So after about 5 minutes it was a genuine cluster****. We were given black chips for change as we played. The black chips were now 50.00, the dealer kept telling us, "lets keep it straight now, reds are 100 and blacks are 50, lets keep it straight now" He only had a few black chips. The 300 + 40 event was playing at the same time all around us. Chip shortage But in all fairness it really was a madhouse on that first day. |

Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
Does anyone have the payout schedule for the Midnight Madness tournament?
I hear they will pay 27 places with 30% to first place if they have 200 players, but what is the rest of the percentages (2nd-27th)? Thanks |

[/ QUOTE ] Your best bet, is to go online at: http://www.harrahs.com and book it/check pricing there. You'll need your players card handy, and you'll need to create a password and such, to be able to log in. Many times you'll get free rooms when you book it that way, where you won't when you book it directly. |
Re: wsop circuit at caesars indiana..Oct 17th
JimmyAllen just told you everything youe needed to know about the freeroll.
