1. A person who has or had a beard
I expected to see Jesus, Osama, and Santa Claus battling it out at the top of this list. But with the Thanksgiving season you Americans may have got more patriotic and the clear favourite was

3. A sport rarely played in the US

The US has hosted a soccer world cup and more American youngsters play soccer than American football. However it hasn't caught on as a spectator sport, because you people are too unsophisticated to understand it. Perhaps it would be the winner for the "sport rarely watched in the US".

However it's the height of the

season here in sunny Sydney, and that was the winning answer.

Hey Roundtower, I'm sorry us Americans are too unsphisticated to watch a highly flawed game that 50% of the time ends 0-0 or 1-0. A game that as soon as someoen scores it ends, a sport where any penalty results in death by lethal injection and a sport that is essentially over if the score is 1-0 after 1 minute.

The reason its popular among little kids is because you can suck at it, and just run around the field sucking, and no one even notices. Baseball puts the kid on the spot and mommy doesn't like that any more

You europeans shoudl just learn soccer is a highlly flawed game and AMERICANS are the sophisticated ones for beign the only country to realize it's total crap...

Again, it's because soccer is the most forgiving sport to kids who suck at it. Mainly because 99% of everything you do on a soccer field doesn't matter, kind of like how the game is at the pro level.

Cue to the Europeans telling me "Pyramidscheme you dont get it" and the 89 mintues of running around kicking the ball back and forth is meanigful. lol

Re: Sheep Reveal Friday 23

As this game's moderator, it's not my place to point out how retarded PyramidScheme is. It's more forgiving to play 90 minutes of soccer where you constantly chase the ball, mark your opponent, or try to make some space for yourself than 90 minutes of American football of which you spend 88 minutes sitting on the bench and 2 minutes on the scrimmage line getting in the way of some other fat kid? A very valid opinion imo.

5. A film set during World War II

Some of the greatest films of all time have been set during this period of our history. At least one recent blockbuster that always comes up in Sheep games was also set in this time. The correct answer was of course

http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/1...escape2pi9.jpg

which got one answer, from an Australian who had presumably like me seen it on channel 7 the night before. In fact I wouldn't have written this question if I hadn't also seen the film that night.

However more of you put

http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/3...0x28025zp8.jpg

and I will reluctantly award you some points.

DustinG 11-24-2007 01:52 PM

Re: Sheep Reveal Friday 23

they are both pretty boring imo.

Baseball obviously takes a lot more skill (nobody can argue with this). And soccer takes more athleticism.

Soccer is probably the most boring though. The only sport less exciting to watch is golf.

In Arizona this is most certainly NOT the case btw. Baseball is played year-round and beats the other sports by a large margain imo. I suspect this is also true in Southern California.

6. A film set before the year 0 AD

I'd often wondered where they got the contestants for "Are you smarter than a fifth grader?". After seeing some of the responses to this question, I began to get an inkling. After some of the responses to question 9, I was certain.
