Michael Bennett to the Bucs.

Also, Jackson hasn't been that bad (except last week), but this should make him the 4th passing option after LT-Gates-Chambers. Not good news for us Jackson owners.

I'm in a 4WR league. Jckson was my WR3 before and I think now he is a WR4/5, and barely a flex option.

Worst trade ever. Jackson>>Chambers. I hope we're not retarded enough to replace Jackson with Chambers as the #1 WR. Then again, we did hire Norv Turner and Ted Cottrell, so I won't be surprised.

Yeah, Vincent Jackson is already either better than Chambers or will surpass him in skill level next year

I don't know, that seems like a waste of money to me. Why would you want TWO wide recievers on the field anyway? Spread the money around, LDO.

Apparently Mewelde Moore was available for a 4th round pick. Would he have been a better fit for the Bucs than Bennett? Also heard Tatum Bell was under consideration.

Chambers doesn't have to "replace" Jackson, im not saying hes worth a 2nd rounder, hes not. But the Chargers are a better football team with him on it this season.

EDIT: And in your OP you say that you hope Chambers doesn't replace Jackson as the teams number 1, which goes to my point that it doesn't really matter. You guys are brutal ar wr, and now one of the two spots are upgraded.

You are also talking about the team and the trade more than FF in your OP, stating that its a horrible trade because Jackson>>>>Chambers, when it doesn't really matter, since they will be both on the feild at the same time.

Like others have said, I still don't get how you pick Michael Bennett over Mewelde Moore or Tatum Bell. It makes me think that they only had to give up like a 6th round pick for Bennett.

Yeah, he had a bad 2006 with a bad QB. I still think he's an upgrade as a #2 WR (#3 receiver) for that team.

I have to admit, I've barely seen Michael Bennett play, which isn't my fault because Herm Edwards has a pathological need to run his starting RB into the ground. Bennett's career stats do look pretty awful.

For the people arguing you can't compare Chris Chambers to Marty Booker and Wes Welker, why the hell not?

Interesting move by Chargers, maybe Chambers can produce better when he isn't the go to player. Between Jackson/Chambers/Davis/Floyd you have to think one will develop into a good go to reciever to open up more space for Gates and LT.
