1000nl AA on semi-wet flop
Villain has been open limping a lot in EP. He's running @ 43/30/2.4. The flop is kinda drawy. Do I call his donk out and shove any safe turn or shove now, etc? Whats my line and why?

call and and see what happens on the turn, most likely putting in some sort of a raise.

Re: 1000nl AA on semi-wet flop
I would bump it up. When people are having their limps abused they get pissed and do stupid [censored]. There's definitely some turn cards I won't like so I'd rather get committed now.

[/ QUOTE ] But a lot of the hands that we have beat might shut down on the turn.. pair+gutter type hands which I think his range is more weighted too when he limp calls as opposed to mid pocket pairs. I put in a small raise to try and induce a shove. |

Re: 1000nl AA on semi-wet flop
I'd definitely bump it to 380 or something vs. your donkish villain.
Disclaimer: I only play this high live. |

Raise and call shove! He's not folding pair+gutshot.

why would flatcall here? Please 3b that flop and call shove obv. [/ QUOTE ] Open up pokerstove, type in that board, then AA in hand one. In hand two, you type in alot of draws, press "evalute", now it shows the equity. Next step is that you on the turn add the 3 of spades. Now press "evalute" one more time. Final step is that you compare the equities against each other, you will now realize that your equity is way better on turn, than on river. This is why some people like to call this flopbet. |
