FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. I wanted to create the *Official* thread because, as Funki proved in Barcelona, starting the *Official* thread guarantees you a top-3 finish.

I get in on the 8th and I'm staying at the luxurious Picadilly Backpackers Hostel. Some would say that I'm ballin' out of control. At 18 pounds/night, I do think that it's the most expensive hostel that I've ever seen. Anyway, I'm in town from the 8th until the 17th and, since I'll probably get 40 BBs in preflop with ATs, I'll be looking for drinking partners. Holla.

1. Are there decent side games and satillites?
2. Resonable hotels near the final casino?
3. Any place to watch college and pro football? How many games?
4. I know you can bet on pro football, do the bookies take bets on college ball?

You can wire the money, the information is all on the website if you want to do that and it's probably easier. Obviously you can bring the cash and buy-in there if you're worried a wire might not get there on time now or something (edit: but that shouldn't be a problem).

1. For side games go to the Victoria Casino, near Marble Arch underground station. (It's where EPT London will be held)

2. The final casino is slap bang in the middle of the West End. You won't find a decent hotel that's cheap.

3. The Sports Cafe http://www.thesportscafe.net/home.cfm is about 300 yards from the Casino at the Empire (where I think the final is being held). They will have tons of college football games on Saturday and lots of pro action too.

4. I doubt you can bet on college football games in bookmakers shops. But if you call william hill they might lay you a bet over the phone. Obv you will have to use a credit card and that might not work for you.

Enjoy London and go and visit Queen Park Rangers playing football. That will be the best day of your trip!!

Thanks for the info. I checked out the prices of some West End hotels, you'd have to make the final table to break even for the trip.
