BoDog - New Deposit Method

BoDog is now offering a new deposit method. It's a paperless check system. Like ACH! It's up an running and I did one yesterday and it worked like a charm. Seems like they are doing all possible to let us deposit.

I've never played there, but I may open an account. If this instant check stays open, all the fish will flock to this site.

$500 deposit using this method and no issues...yet. Transaction is still pending, but they're allowing play before it's confirmed.

Re: BoDog - New Deposit Method

Yes it's there. They just started this yesterday. They some how found a U.S. based processor that will do "paperless checks" rather then ACH's! Truly Wonderful!

Given the (relative lack of) current deposit methods at other sites, if this doesn't pick-up Bodog's real money player #'s, I don't know what will. Making this deposit was just as easy as entering my NETeller info. No verification or anything req'd.

Unless Bodog owns the company processing these "paperless" checks I have to imagine that FullTilt, Stars, etc will follow suit with this or another provider. Banks might be conservative but its not like they hate money

what's the difference between "paperless checks" and ACH? How are they processed differently?

nutmeg022 03-23-2007 10:54 AM

Re: BoDog - New Deposit Method

NO they are just offering this "Paperless Check" to a certain amount of "current" clients. This is a way to test it for internal purposes. It will roll out to everyone shortly!@

Be Patient!

It doesn't matter IMO. If someone can get the info that easily, don't you think someone in government who really wanted it could get it as well. I doubt they're sitting there waiting for it to get posted on 2+2 so they can crack down.

Skallagrim 03-23-2007 05:02 PM

Re: BoDog - New Deposit Method

I gotta agree with Genesis here. If one of us can get that info that easily, the FBI can get it just as easy. And clearly the company doesnt mind being known or it would hide better.

This isnt always true, however, I think things like the gift card threads are problematic - I certainly want them posted so I will know about them, but since the only reason things like that still work is because the company hasn't thought about them being used like that, it becoming common knowledge may work against us because the compnay may change policy if the gambling use is brought to their attention.

Haliburton just moved to Dubai, so that must be the reason.
