Do they still make Ecto Cooler
Does anyone else remember Ecto Cooler:
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...EctoCooler.jpg My dad used to buy it in them big cans that you had to open w/ the triangle can opener. I used to love that stuff. I dont think they make it anymore. I can see them marketing it different since Slimer isnt really an icon these days (to younger kids anyway). Does anyone know if you can still find this stuff? Also is there anything that you used to love that they dont make anymore and wish they did? If this has been done before mods, just delete it (btw the search function either sucks or I'm half retarded so please dont suggest that I search because I already did.) I doubt it's still called Ecto Cooler but Hi-C Citrus Cooler was the exact same thing and I am sure can be found easily.

Does anyone know of a cereal that is exactly the same as C3POs? That was my favorite, and I can still remember the taste.

Also is there anything that you used to love that they dont make anymore and wish they did? [/ QUOTE ] When Taco Bell took away the cheesey gordita chrunch, I was very depressed. Years later, I found out that it was still on the menu and could be ordered, despite not being adveritsed at all or even printed on the menu. At every T bell you could ask for one (even though it wasn't on the menu anywhere) and they'd custom make it just like the good ol' times. I assume they still do this but I havent tried in maybe 8 months. |

omg you rule. The Slimer cover is sweet.
Speaking of this, does anyone remember those kiddie drinks that were plastic "bottles"? Very small with a red or blue juice inside. Can't remember the name. |
Re: Do they still make Ecto Cooler
Yeah, you could put them in the freezer and make slushes. they had other ones too in plastic 'barrels' sort of. they had the tinfoil peel off top, yes?

Re: Do they still make Ecto Cooler
Um, no, no they don't.

Re: Do they still make Ecto Cooler
The 64 oz. container of Ecto Cooler was a staple of my childhood as well. I actually remember when they stopped calling it Citrus Cooler and started calling it Ecto Cooler; I wonder when they switched back? EDIT: Whoa, maybe I'm hallucinating here with that memory. Wikipedia suggests it is unlikely.

Re: Do they still make Ecto Cooler
Hugs!
Edit: Little Hugs Daily Juice Products in Vernon, Pennsylvania started making these in 1985. They were fruit flavored juices in a clear plastic bottle shaped like a barrel, with a tin foil lid. They came in all the usual juice flavors: fruit punch, grape, orange, cherry, strawberry, etc. |

big cans that you had to open w/ the triangle can opener [/ QUOTE ] This is a vivid memory from my childhood. It wasn't just Ecto Cooler though, although I definitely remember that flavor. I drank all sorts of Hi-C. Well, I haven't seen any fudge covered Oreos in a long time. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Also having a hard time finding A & W Cream Soda. |

Re: Do they still make Ecto Cooler
Ecto Cooler was also a staple of my childhood.
Does anyone remember Quackers (I think this is what they were called)? They were like Goldfish crackers, but shaped like ducks. Can't find any sort of image or proof of them through wiki or google. |
Re: Do they still make Ecto Cooler
Remember Orbitz? It tasted like ass and wasn't on the market for very long, but remains a fond memory. When I was around 13 my best friend and I used to walk an hour and a half to the mall to buy these and drink them with disgusted looks on our faces:
"Man these are good huh?" "Hell yeah man, Orbitz are AWESOME!!!!!" http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g3...Orbitzsoda.jpg Orbitz - Wikipedia |
