Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
This just happen? Is that 10:10 EST on your post? It's down for me too--in four SNG's at the same time. Hope that's not just $44 down the drain. Getting kicked in a SNG is much worse than a cash game, as I've just learned.

Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
I think Full Tilt is out growing its servers and bandwidth capabilities..... Today was the $200K tourney which is prbably still running as well. This place could be perfect if it wasn't for this.

Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
me too, probably down again. They stink!

Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
ouch, down during the 200k guarantee is really bad for them. I love this site and hope they update soon, because it does seem to be going down more often.

Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
it's been freezing on me a lot lately, but I could always re-login. today it just died and can't reconnect. i'm running out of patience with FTP, fast.

10:38pm still down
Sorry guys. Probably my fault since everytime I put all my money in one site it messes up.

Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
It was still running. 39 of us left when it died. Not good for their image.
EDIT: And glad they don't let you unregister after qualifying. |

Thank you for your email. Our game servers went temporarily down for emergency maintenance on January 8th at approx. 22:04 pm ET. If you were involved in a game prior to the outage, your account will be credited according to the following rules. If you were seated at a table, the following will occur: - If you were "in the money" in a tournament (or S&G), then the tournament will be paid out according to your chip position at the time of the disconnect. If you were the chip leader in the tournament at the time of the disconnect, you will win first place and be credited with the money. - If you were not "in the money", everyone in the tournament (including those who busted early) will be refunded the full buyin for the event. - If you were involved in a cash game hand, and would have lost money, we have credited your account with the amount you would have lost. If you would have won the hand, your account was credited with the total amount you would have won. You can always find the status of our game servers at the following link: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/systemStatus.php We certainly do apologize for the inconvenience, and are working on ways to improve our network service to be more redundant, secure and stable. We appreciate your patience and patronage at Full Tilt Poker. Regards, Peter Team Full Tilt [/ QUOTE ] |
Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
Agree. They're software is slow and crappy. 70 hands/hr at 6-max wtf.

Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
They're actually the fastest in terms of h per hour. Its their god damn servers that blow.
|
Re: full tilt needs an upgrade
they had a network outage late december too, for about 2-4 hours. I haven't been playing there much recently, too few limit games.
