Re: Poker Boom With UK Regulation
the US casinos aren't entering the UK online market....at least not MGM.

Re: Poker Boom With UK Regulation
Has anyone heard why U.S. casinos aren't attempting to enter the U.K. market. I suppose they might be worried about protectionist tariffs in retaliation for the U.S. legislation from last year.

Re: Poker Boom With UK Regulation
they will be, first they need a non US facing site like Yahoo does.
This is ALL good news for us really, do you think the UK will sit by and let U S companies run Poker and Sports Betting there while UK companies are barred from the US? Yahoo uses Yahoo.com/uk http://uk.poker.games.yahoo.net/yaho...ity/index.html Same for AOL, they now host sports betting. not live yet but story here: http://www.bookmakersreview.com/c/Ne...g_partnership/ obg |

Re: Poker Boom With UK Regulation
Of the "major sites" serving the US market (Poker Stars, Full Tilt, Bodog, Ultimate Bet), can anyone confirm which are approved for UK advertising?
I understand Poker Stars is in, Full Tilt is out, have not heard regarding Bodog or UB... any others? |
Re: Poker Boom With UK Regulation
None of them. Bodog would get in if Antigua gets on the whitelist. Im not sure where FT is located off the top of my head, but several have Kanahawke licenses, and if they get on the whitelist they could.

Are there any British based sites planning on opening September 1st?
