No, I just need to emphasize certain points, such as every word of the last couple posts I've made.

Rate my style points:

$110 stack opens UTG, one caller, I make it 31 OTB with AK, UTG calls.

Flop KQx, check check. He instapots turn for $72, leaving him with $10 behind. I call. River brick, he check-calls $9 and 99 is no good, leaving him with $1 to post half the big blind next hand.

My won at showdown number is about 4% below my standard number this month. I take this as a sign that I am indeed running poorly this month.

Is this logical?

Just got the new rig built, installed and fully up and running now.

XHD3000 Monitor (30")

setup = brag

wall paper = hudge beat

mouse = beat (wire? wtf?)

desk = plz get a bigger one and put a little thought into the ergonomics of the situation ktks<3

[/ QUOTE ]

Setup = Thanks, yo.

Wall paper = Yes, it's beyond horrible. But what if I told you I was living rent & utility free. Does that help any?

Mouse = Bro, that's a G5...who gives a rats ass if it's wired? Doesn't bother me in the least.

Desk = Yup, agree 100%. We're moving to Vegas in the spring, so after that, I will. This desk is NOT making the trip.

But thanks for the props, I think?

And this is the mother of all monitors: Gateway 30" XHD3000 and it's $1840-ish.

More inputs than you can believe and the best scaling chip on the planet for a monitor. Play at a smaller resolution = better FPS, then have the monitor upscale it

reverse implied odds still applies, bb isn't squeezing more than 20% of the time unless he's a maniac (and are you shoving there? but thats a second question).

Basically, you are going to get into a lot of situations postflop where you are going to pay off a better hand while the villain is going to be able to get away from hands that could pay you a lot easier than you getting away from tptk... (ugh i know i'm not explaining it very well, its late)

3betting pre takes advantage of your preflop equity and cuts down on your reverse implied odds (like him flopping a set of sevens), so its a pretty much a must do.
