Man, I hate these questions. They're obviously the most interesting but it's very hard to narrow them down.

edfurlong was underrated, but folk have recognized in the past few months.
Similar situation for adsman.
Most of BBV4L is overrated by everyone else in BBV4L. But since that's basically an incestuous relationship of suck we'll let it slide.

I know I'm going to miss some smaller names, but here's a shot.

Underrated
-guids is so solidly consistent but I think people sleep on him because he goes off from time to time. I am always very interested to read what he has to say though, and I don't think many other people feel that way.
-offTopic is amazing. The new edfurlong as far as underratedness goes.
-iggymcfly. Nothing too spectacular, but he always explains himself well and is seemingly never wrong. Of course, you basically have to hang out in sports and sports betting to know who he is.

Overrated
-Blarg. Honestly, he's not terrible and is really quite tolerable. But people just love to jack his dick all day. Give it a rest.
-Borodog. I can't believe that I agree with dcfr on something like this, but his arguing style is pretty much act condescending and sure or yourself until someone gives up. He used to do a much better job explaining stuff, but let the other politics people get to him.
-Can't come up with a 3rd outside of BBV world right now, so I'm going to pass.

I don't think OOT has been affected too much. The intelligent discussion in OOT had basically ceased to exist before EDF came about so there was no real loss there. If anything, it matured OOT b/c the good posters got in a clearer mind by going to EDF and then brought it back here.

BBV4L had almost no effect on OOT imo. Instead just siphoning the worst out of BBV. If it kept that discussion out of OOT then I am very glad though.

I don't think any posters have permanently defected. Almost all of them still make appearences in OOT threads. The few that really migrated went to TL;DR.

El D - Maybe a week since he only posts so often. He'd be the guy never wrong though.
traz - 9 days. Take 3 sets of 3 days and filter for posters with > 200 posts in each time period.
nath - 2 Sunday Millions threads and one intoxicated rant.
xxxnoahxxx - a while. no offense. you're good but nothing stands out as easily you.
conspire - one post with his bolded signature.
skunkworks - probably a while, but then he would make some elegantly vulgar comment about how someone can place their tongue on the base of his shaft.
