A lot of people are suggesting additional events, and I agree that that would be awesome. The easiest way to make this possible is to add a second event every day M-Th(possibly Sunday also, but it may be best to leave Sunday to the big NLHE events).

This is what I would like to see:

1. More six-max NLHE. Also, $215 and $320 is redundant. $215, $530, $1050, and $215r would be best.

2. More six max PLO. $215, $530, $215r. Make the two nine-handed PLO events $320r and $1050.

3. A mixed PLO/PLHE event ($530)

4. A second headsup event ($1050).

5. A midrange HORSE event ($530 or $1050)

6. A mixed Omaha 8/Stud 8 event ($320 or $530).

7. A mixed limit event with draw games, which would be even better if Stars has added Badugi. BOTE, perhaps.

This would be 9 additional events, which could be scheduled with only adding a second event to one Sunday, or by beginning the series one day earlier.

My thoughts on some of the other suggestions that have been made:

1. Two day events. I don't think this is necessary for every event, but every event that goes 18+ hours this year should get consideration, and the Sunday NLHE events should all be two-day events. The ideal scheduling would be to have any additional two-day events on Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday.

2. I could also see an argument for every event being two days, with most events simply cutting at the final table. If the final tables are moved to day 2, a blinds/levels rollback would be nice, especially in the limit events.

3. A tournament of champions and/or a overall leaderboard, with PCA/WSOP seats being the prize(s). The series generates a ton of rake, especially given the volume of satellites; I'm sure they could afford the giveback, and it might encourage people to play more of the non-NLHE events.

4. I personally like the singular, annual status of the WCOOP, so I would not like to see a matching series in the spring. Other people have suggested smaller buyin events. I think, at most, the fall WCOOP should have one "micro" event, maybe a mini-main event with a $25 buyin. Any more would detract from the best aspect of the WCOOP - large fields driven by satellite entries. As an alternative, both to the biannual suggestion and the smaller buyin suggestion, I suggest a mini-WCOOP in the spring; ten to fifteen events over one week, with smaller buyins, leading up to the first $1050 million.

With respect to the 2-day debate:

1) consider having FO events with 2000+ entrants, and re-buy events with 1000+ entrants be 2-day events. At a minimum, consider it for the main event. I think it will take about 18 hours to reach the FT this year, 20 hours to get to the final 4, and 22 hours to get to head's up (if no deals are made).

2) Have the day break occur during the final 1 to 3 tables, whatever allows for day one to be about 16 hours or so. I think it's important that everyone who makes it to day 2 is guaranteed a large win.

3) Consider putting in a few extra payout levels for the final 3 tables or so, especially if it's a 2-day event. Having 10th win only about 30% more than 27th is pretty lame for the biggest online event of the year.

For example, for the final 3 tables:

23-27, 19-22, 16-18, 13-15, 10-11, and 10

rather than just:

19-27 and 10-18

With respect to the radio broadcasts, is there any way to set up a separate final table on the client that is in sync with the broadcast (kind of like the re-plays)? If not, use a theme that looks clearer at low resolution.

don't mess with the once-a-year status of the WCOOP, that's what makes it cool.

Also, since no one else has mentioned it:

At least one 4-handed poker tourney.

agreed, but i think stars should have smaller (maybe week long?) tourney series 1-3 times a yr with a similiar structure
