m2tr,

Yet again you prove that your are a very reasonable sports fan outside of any discussion of Bears football. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

that's because Urlacher eats babies and Grossman was Foley's personal page (and he liked it [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img])

Rutgers moves to 7-0. They play UCONN next week who is 105th in the nation against the run. I'm thinkin RU should be 17th next week. God this is a great run. Real test is November 9th against UL. UL will be coming off a game against WVU. Maybe the SUNJ can get a win that week.

After all that, not a single ranked team goes down.

Touche. Nice win by the Cougs. Hopefully they can win out. Auburn needs all the help we can get with the computers.

Assorted thoughts:

At the Big House. Michigan played sort of a "meh" game, but Iowa isn't bad (not really good), MM still out, etc. Sometimes these games happen. The D still looked pretty sick, although Tate did more escaping than I like (but mobile QB's will do that). Hart really got going in the 2nd half. Other receivers stepping up, but we really miss MM as a deep threat to balance everything out.

State: Good God! Just when you thought they were dead. My buddy who arrived right before kickoff said they had pulled within 7, and I said that they'd probably pull ahead then lose anyway. Nothing this team does should surprise anyone, yet they still do.

Damn UT/Cal/UT/ND pulling out wins. ND is trying because it is probably technically in our (Michigan's) interest for them to win more, as it increases the chances of an 11-1 Michigan sneaking into the BCS Title Game, however slim (because we're beating OSU obv). But I can't really root for them.

Lot of great games/close breaks, but nothing major apparently.

This Clemson O-line is just nasty. And as I type this another rush TD.

Wow again, sick TD catch on the Tech side. Maybe this is a game.

Reggie Ball is the worst [censored] quarterback in college football. How [censored] wide open does the best [censored] receiver the the entire [censored] country have to be before you [censored] think about throwing him the [censored] ball.

Got back from the NE/Texas game a while back, but forgot to post anything about it...

It was so so cold outside. Our stadium was pretty dead up until later in the game, where we started staging a comeback. I agree there was poor clock management on our side...when Nunn fumbled it, that just sucked ass.

Was one helluva game, well played on both sides...both teams made their share of mistakes I think. Texas blotching on their field goals and NE on their turnovers (TX was fortunate enough to recover theirs). Doh.

It is Dids, your friendly WSU PR guy.

We've lost to USC, Auburn and Cal. WHAT DO THOSE TEAMS HAVE IN COMMON (well, beyond nearly losing to UW for two of them).

And our QB actually played good today, which was a nice change. Our defense has like zero healthy D1 level tackles and we're still crushing.
