Dibs: No, that had nothing to do with it. In situations like this I am perceived as a white dude.

NT: That is no question the right answer, waiting behind him then ratting on him right near the front.

LFS: The line had ample opportunity to speak up, at least 3 or 4 minutes. Alas, unlike the 60+% of badasses in this poll, they were pussies and just let me go back and forth with this douche until I finally yielded to his offer.

Yugo: She was fat. Otherwise I wouldn't have even noticed the dude cutting since she would have been blowing me right there in line.

Noah: One time in Atlanta, a guy (family man type) bumped (at about 2 miles per hour) the guy in front of him. Young black dude (YES RACIST BAN BAN BAN BUT YOU ALL KNOW WHICH BLACK DUDE I'M TALKING ABOUT) gets out of the car with a baseball bat and starts pounding the hood of the car that tapped them. The light changes, he walks back to the Escalade and they drive away.

Alobar: "So if he doesnt care about everyone thinking hes an assbag" Exactly. I loudly called him out three times and he just ignored everything/everyone.

Its probably 50/50 if I say something in the first place, depending on my mood. But if I say something I'm pot committed, and I'm not letting it go until he moves to the back or he threatens me physical violence (at which point I'm not willing to fight over this, but if there were security people around I'd point him out to them).

I was so happy with your OP until you took him up on the offer. Still, well played.

Him: 'Hey man, look, if it's that big a deal to you, you can go in front of me.'
Me: 'OK, fine, you explain it to these two people in front of me.'
Him: 'OK'

So I walk past the two people in front of me

Me: 'Thanks for the cuts-' grab bluetooth and chuck it toward end of line '-now go fetch your cool-guy ear piece, bitch.'

I've always thought the handling of the line-cutter by Mandy Patinkin's character in Dead Like Me was pretty awesome. Your situation would've been the perfect occasion to use it.

Here's the clip.

this is [censored] awesome.

Oh yeah.
I live for this because I have the best line for when someone cuts in front of me, although for maximum effect you have to keep a straight face and say it sincerely:

"Excuse me, sir, did you deliberately or accidentally cut in line?"

Here is the script, for you telemarketer-wannabes!

A: Excuse me, sir, did you deliberately or accidentally cut in line?

B1: Uh, accidentally.

A: Well, okay. The line starts back there. *point*

B: *leaves*

B2: What the hell, man?

A: Oh, I just wanted to know, so sorry. You go back there *point*

B: *leaves*

B3: Deliberately.

A: *step on the back of his shoe every time the line moves*

B: *leaves*

How does that work? Are we talking dark-haired white guy with a slight sun tan, or is it the clothes/accent/behavior that makes the difference here?

Nice pic.

Question for you: Would you have similarly objected to the line cutter if it had been a woman?
