Re: Lazy way to pump gas
I have never seen a pump without auto hold.

Re: Lazy way to pump gas
Never heard of this, but I've always lived in warm weather and those auto things work like 95% of the time anyway.
Perhaps a poll can straighten this out... |

Re: Lazy way to pump gas
This is indeed illegal in MA. It sucks because now I only have one free hand at the pump to light my cigar.

In a related development, with the weather cooling off, I was having trouble with a door in the apartment that kept closing when the heater had been running, thus preventing warm air from circulating into the second bathroom which, somehow, doesn't have a register. I don't have a picture of my specific situation, but this is a rough approximation: http://www.netherwalloptrading.com/_...roducts/21.jpg I found that if I wedged something underneath the door, it would actually stop the door from closing! I'm trying to think of a catchy name for it so I can market it... Seriously, WTF at this thread?!?!?! [/ QUOTE ] LMAO |

[ QUOTE ] how slow exactly are your pumps? i am usually at the pump for 30 seconds. [/ QUOTE ] I think Euro pumps are MUCH faster. [/ QUOTE ]That's because they use liters in Europe. And liters are smaller than gallons and can thus slip into the tank faster. |
