Re: Full Tilt Year end iron man bonus

As to how the reduced clear-rate, but with no rakeback penalty. 1000 points usually corresponds to $60, with a 27% deduction in rakeback of $16.20 for a total of $43.80. Here, 1000 points clears $50 of bonus. So net, it's better.
For me, it's really convenient as it kicks in all of two days after my sign-up bonus expires (I'm a poor-ass balla who is going to clear maybe $350 of my $500 sign-up bonus), and based on my standard play is gonna be a free $60-80. A+.

Desktop. Right click. New > Text Document. Name it "xxxxxx.txt" where xxxxxx is the number of points you have when starting playing for the day. Round up to the next whole number. Play out your blinds. Hooray.

If anyone's in a similar situation in terms of overlapping bonuses at full tilt -- the initial 100% Deposit Bonus and Year-End Ironman promotion, this is the response I got from FTP:

In regards to your 100% Initial Deposit Bonus and your Year-End Bonus
inquiry, should you qualify for the year end bonus you will be able to
earn points toward both bonuses at the same time. These are separate
bonuses, thus the points you earn go towards both of them.

3. You have to earn the bonus in January The bad news is you actually get $0.05 of bonus for every Full Tilt Point you earn (it's usually $0.06 for our bonuses). The good news is that it does NOT affect rakeback. This bonus is tracked on a web page, and you get one lump sum payment at the end of January. If you only clear $328 in bonus, you'll get paid the $328. Also, you could earn another bonus at the same time as this, so if you have enough Ironman Medals to buy a bonus from the store, January would be a good time.

This seems to be very hard to clear for Full Tilt Faithfuls - say one gets 10 x Gold in 2007 at NL25 - 750 bonus is like a bizillion hands at NL25.

Any way to extend the clearing period beyond just 1 month?

Thank you for the bonus BTW. (unexpected bonus is always welcome

FTPDoug has stated that there is something special in the works for people who have been in ironman for 12+ months...
he said it's coming soon.
