What would qualify as being fat? What is the minimum amount of extra poundage you need to be carrying around?

I just read this article on yahoo about a guy who walked all the way across the country to lose weight. Link

I couldn't help but think -- the guy *walked* all the way across the country and only lost 100 pounds!? Wow. It really must be hard to take off weight. Good luck all.

I'm 19, 6'1", and 334.
I've been needing some impetus to loose about 100 pounds, and even saying/posting that makes me sick.

Where should I send the pictures to?

we currently have a lack of camera at the dorms, but I can vouch for Kraln, as he lives in the room next to mine, and is my fraternity brother

Dids,

I remember from the Atkins post, you said the main problem was that Atkins doesn't teach you how to change life habbits and you put all that weight back on once you switched off of it.

So, what's your gameplan this time around?

Dude you got 4 posts. I normally dont care how many posts people have, but we are giving money away here. I would prefer if the money went to someone that actually contributed to the boards.

mason,

In my case, the concern would be more for Ben and Jerry. Can you have some Phish Food so that they don't go [censored] up?

Dids,

I have boycotted B&J's since they sold out. Any other requests?

30, 6'3, 335 lbs.

Actually, 335 is a guess. My scale only goes to 330, so when I first stepped on it, it kept saying 'error'. However I was able to get it to read 329 by pressing down every so slightly on my dresser, so I'm guessing ~335. I have pics on my phone but I don't have a USB thingy so I can't get them on my computer. I can attach them as a text message though.

As an interesting side note, I've done this once before. On January 21st 2003, I weighed 327. On August 17th 2003 I bottomed out at 212. Now I'm up to ~335. Sigh.

Re: MY CONTRIBUTION

btw, my comment was meant in jest, as i went from 230 to 160 not that long ago.
