Re: Real World DENVER : Premiere

Thanks to this thread I'm currently watching the premiere. I don't want to sound cool by claiming I haven't watched mtv in over a year, but it's around channel three hundred something on my DTV around the other channels I never watch.

Can somebody give me a review of the Philly season? I meant to watch that since I lived there, but sorta forgot about it after the first 4 shows - didn't seem that interesting.

I kinda wish Mike & Madd Dog could do the play-by-play for this show:
"That's a nice job by Alex there". "Bad job by the religious guy".

I'd like it noted that Seattle was the city that start [censored] with the Real World cast. We're [censored] original.

Just watched the 1st two.

I hate "Colie" more now that I realize it's just a horrible raping of "Nicole". She's [censored] retarded.

Jenn is hot in the exactly slutty way that I find way more attractive than I should. Drawn on eyebrows for the win.

The other girl is fine too. Clearly racist and homophobic as [censored].

The Alex dude and his pink shirt is just slightly less gay then the gay guy (somebody from Denverstarted this rumor on another board).

I like that MTV cast a black guy as their ignorant southerner this time.

For the 500th straight year, MTV ignores that Asian men exist. I'm not begging to see one, but it's just [censored] weird how absent they are from reality tv.

The editing of this show was really weird. They show them part, and appear to go out the following day, but when they go out they're clearly wearing the clothes they wore the first day. Also the whole guest room/pizza edit was weird.

The commercials for the Duel or whatever, since when did that naked lesbian black chick become a Klingon?

In case it wasn't clear, Brooke is just coming off of a long-term interracial relationship. Her alma mater, Belmont, is in downtown Nashville. Its a pretty small school, and people generally go there for music or music business. Belmont definitely attracts more than its fair share of Christian musicians, since its a good music/business school and TN is the heart and soul of Christian music publishing.

Bumping this thread for those who may have bowed out earlier in the season. Tonight's episode is definitely worth seeing if you've followed this season at all. Lots of screaming, lusting, and all-around crazy "reality TV" drama.

All,

Hhahahahahha, best line from this week's episode: "Jen is 3-0 on you" --LT

HAHHAHAHHAHAHA

OMG, Jen is such a vile person, but also awesome!

Only reason I'm still watching this is because Steven was the President of my class in high school. It's sure fun laughing at him. What a douchebag.

Seattle, SF, and London were the peaks of this show. All downhill since. Wonder what Puck is doing these days.....
