Don't think so. It's a British site.

I'm slowly losing touch with a certain circle of friends I have since I never go to the pub to watch football (soccer) matches with them on a Sunday. I used to be there all afternoon, but watching ball games from early afternoon to 4am which I did a few times is def. burnout. Oh well, the Premiership is zzzzzzzzzzz anyway tbh.

Jay, pretty funny to observe you going from a fanatical soccer hooligan to an american football fan. Does your friends/family know? Are you still accepted as a british citizen? Do you still drink tea?

i actually think this is dumb. its pure +EV to believe in God. if there isnt a heaven/hell and ure an athiest, wd great. if there is a heaven/hell and your an athiest, ure [censored]. its just implied odds. granted Christianity may not be the correct religion, and potentially it has to be narrowed down further, but you choose whatever makes the most sense to you.

Being a Christian because of Pascal's wager is silly. If god were choosing between someone who went through the motions because he was worried about his eternal soul vs. someone who led a good life but didn't believe in him, which would he prefer to let into heaven?

I've got nothing against Christians (the fact I didn't know you were one is definitely a plus in your favour), but this kind of defence is a bad rationale.

just human nature, if it wasn't religion it would be something else.

I don't agree with this at all. Of course there are going to be people who try to take advantage for their own means, and I agree that that is inevitable. However, I don't agree that it's inevitable that systems are created without taking this into account. It's possible to create systems that take advantage of people looking out for just themselves and whilst they have their downsides, there're massive plusses too - e.g, capitalism.

anyone have experience with etihad airways?

i think i might go with them to fly to bangkok in a few days

I took their first ever flight to Dubai from Heathrow a couple of years back. I don't remember much of it, so it was probably fine. Only problem was that they promised a bus service on the other side that wasn't ready yet, presumably if you aren't on the first ever flight it works a bit better.

I stumbled upon an extra amount of money (Got my money from Prima finally), and I'm buying a 360 in a couple weeks. What games other than Halo and Assassin's Creed should I get?

GOW is good. I don't think it's the best game ever, but it's good. Same for Bioshock. I'm up to about 50 hours on Elder Scrolls IV right now, and I don't even like RPGs. Also, Half Life 2 episode 2 is out...

Psalms:

137:8 O daughter Babylon, soon to be devastated! How blessed will be the one who repays you for what you dished out to us!

137:9 How blessed will be the one who grabs your babies and smashes them on a rock!

Yeh, it's a lovely book.
