Not really as a whole as I have lived here all my life, just too many bible thumping baptists trying to save all us lowly sinners from the demon poker. I play in a pretty high stakes tourney with some local officials and people in Govt. in a major TN city and they think this bust was as stupid as we do but they all agree there is more to this than poker and the rumor is the old guy arrested owed an unpaid gambling debt to some pretty powerful peoples and the bust was just a rouse to get their money back.

Another black eye on TN though, after Frist, the moral guidance officer for the general public, did what he did.

He was charged with "aggravated gambling promotion." That has to be my favorite crime.

Actually he was charged with that because they found betting slips for scollege and pro football on him. He was working as a bookie, that is what got him the extra charge,
might want to know all the facts first.
