My hearing is awful as it is, and I'm pretty sure I could get good at reading peoples lips relatively quickly, I would for 20m and its not too close.

Since I'm pretty proficient in American Sign Language, money + no hearing it is. But if I wasn't, there's no way I'd give that up.
